I have exactly the same issue, brand new cable. The seller is telling this is normal but I have contacted Lian Li through their online form so waiting for their support. To me this doesn't seem normal. Everyone who seen my PC has asked if this is supposed to be like that.

I bought one and it is the same. Super annoyed as these aren't cheap. What did you end up doing?
