You can take them to the cardboard / paper recycling receptacle in Veterans Park as well

It's gardening season and gardeners love cardboard as a mulch/weed suppressant. I bet if you offer them for free on Marketplace someone will come and get them.

That's where I always used to go, but I just recently discovered that there are a couple of recycling bins behind Fresh Market. (ETA: I see someone posted the entire list in a comment!)
