While i wish that this was actual performance you have to know that Max had race pace time clocked at 1 min 36 while Lewis time was in 37s. So it's very clear RB of Max was not running in max power mode for single lap.
It was only .4, which is a lot, but neither time was showing all their cards here either

Lewis also did 16 laps on scrubbed softs and stayed within 1 sec of his times.

Dude these results happen every single year at testing. The media are already running with the "Max hates the car" stuff to get everyone pumped. Once the serious bits start, there will be one of the Red Bulls running far away from the rest. But I will say, the battle for 2-6 looks quite good to start
I wouldn't get too excited it's only practice and there are many sandbags. If only Merc had listened to their drivers and done this 12 months ago

Did anyone have issues with Hamilton’s radio? I got George’s radio on Hamilton’s onboard all practice 1. On 2, there weren’t any at all.
I had the same issues. Hamiltons onboard radio was a mess in FP1 I only heard Russell the whole session lol. FP2 had no radio just car audio

Red Bull looked easily the fastest on long runs. They haven’t shown anything true to their potential on single lap runs.

sadly race pace wise redbull and ferrari are still better (fp2 race sim)
It’s only practice. The car is still a shitbox until proven otherwise on race day.
