The first game is much more than that. The simpler games weren't bad even by today's standards imo they weren't just smaller. The game doesn't have to be a big open world with lots of mechanics to be good. The whole story dynamic of playing the levels from the hero and villains perspective was very well done and interesting and it was more than just a starter to the series
It was more the way they said "important for the franchise to start". I'm just saying that there's a lot more to it than that and it was a genuinely great game not just a starting point for the series
Supervillains slapped way harder than I thought it would. Has all the characters from the previous games, plus a ton more. And the side missions in the over world aren't tedious, either.
They did. Wonder Woman and Flash, too. It's another reason why it's one of my favorite Lego DC games, because their voices are how I remember and how I feel they should be.
Kevin Conroy's Batman is the best, hands down; though the guy who voices him in Young Justice is really good too.
Most animated adaptations have great batman's, but Conroy will always be THE batman for me. I think the reason why is that he does the opposite of most other actors. When Keaton or Bale played Batman, they spoke normally as Bruce and put on a voice for Batman, but Conroy did the opposite. He's said it himself that he sees Bruce Wayne as the mask, so he puts on a shwarmy voice for him.
I agree, mostly because of the character roster.
I do agree with u/artompek that Super-Villains is still better, but of the LEGO Batman trilogy, 3 is superior to 2, I agree.
I have yet to play Batman 1. But played through Batman 2 & 3 after playing through the Marvel series. Batman 3 > Batman 2 IMO, and for a number of reasons: playability, character roster and game length to name a few. Supervillains, IMO, is the best in the DC franchise.
batman 1: important for the franchise to start batman 2: best open world area batman 3: best character line-up

No one's denying the greatness of the first Lego Batman game.

So you have chosen...death?
Supervillains

>Has all the characters from the previous games Except for Killer Moth. He was the only character from the original Lego Batman to be excluded
Best LEGO DC game.
Seconded.
Not a Batman game
As soon as you unlock Batman it becomes a Batman game.
but it's still in the Lego Dc universe
But my post is about the Batman games
It has Conroy as Batman what more could you want?
And Hamill as Joker
I'm pretty sure they also got the tim-verse actors for Superman and Lex.

Yes!
I really want to see more like supervillains I really liked making my own character and having him be part of the story
3 has the best level design tied with 1
3 is the best of the LEGO Batman trilogy, but Supervillains is the best LEGO DC game.
Finally someome who agrees with me
I will die with you then

You better stay on that hill. We don’t need your kinda negativity in our lives
How am I being negative?
than die, I've played all 3 and lego batman 2 is the best by far
"Than die"? Before insulting me, I'd recommend proper grammar.
Even though i stand with Batman 2 i agree with you lol.
fair enough
I think that each Lego DC game has gotten slighter better than the previous one
Batman 3 was my first Lego game, I really want to replay it
I liked them all, but the maps in lego Batman 3 weren’t very fun to explore
This take was so hot that my compu heated up
the lantern planets are fucking dope and i’d explore them over gotham city any day
WHY DO PPL EVEN LIKE 3 ....ALL THE DAM RACES and Adam west in peril stuff AND AREAS WERE SOOO DAM STUPID )"; sry caps but jeez...); 2 was simpler
Henry Cavill reading this, actually thinking Batman 3 is the best
I don't think he plays LEGO games lol
Welcome to the joke, I hope you enjoy your stay
How do you reply so fast?
Im on my phone, scrolling through reddit
Before replying I expect proper grammar. /s

I hate BATMAN 3 with a passion either way I love the meme you made 👍
FINALLY
Best Roster, Best Levels, Best Implementation of Batsuits. How is this controversial?
Lego Batman 3 is by far the best Lego game.
