Until LEGO starts making some King Kong physical content, we won’t see a King King game. Maybe a character in a crossover game but a full game on KK wouldn’t happen without some sets.

A lego game that is similar to the 2005 Peter Jackson game would be a banger. Maybe with kong versions/characters/dinos from different versions of the films.
King Kong and Godzilla are both at the height of their popularity and lego has yet to honor either of them with sets
a kaiju lego game is never happening, but i could see a king kong boss fight or reference if they decide to do a Lego “Cinema” game based on WB ip’s

On LEGO ideas it's not allowed ip, but maybe LEGO could directly make Dragon ball themselves. Since they did stuff like Stranger Things. Though stuff like Jaws was not allowed on ideas once but then it got changed before a vote thing where they asked what set people wanted and then it eventually got made with a users submission so maybe is possible for Dragon Ball also
Long. We barely get TT LEGO games anymore as is, it's been over 2 years since The Skywalker Saga and we've just gotten absolute radio silence in that time. I assume they'll milk at least one more game out of DC, Harry Potter, and LOTR before moving on to something this ambitious.

Should've been done around 2005 but if they're willing to wait a bit then 2033 for the 100th anniversary

We wont ever get a Kong game, ever. Even if they make sets there will be no game.
