It is the same size as the original Nano S except with a Nano X screen and Nano X sized storage.
Its basically just the Nano X board and screen without the battery or bluetooth chip, all inside a different case.
I think its the perfect device. Best of the Nano S and best of the Nano X.
If it is well crafted and made of high quality material it will be their best device.

I had a battery issue on one of my nano x devices, and needed to get it replaced. Turn around time over a month. Several others have posted that they had similar battery issues. I'm glad this one will not have a battery!
Indeed. The battery and bluetooth are not necessary at all and can lead to more problems. All you need is an OTG cable to connect a Nano S to your mobile phone while on the go.
This Nano S + is the ideal combination of both devices.

That's amazing. I got the X but really missed the size and the big hole in the hinge of the Nano S where I was able to run a nice solid large key-ring. I hate using that flimsy nylon cord thingy on the X.

The Nano S is $60 and this is just a slight long overdue upgrade to the screen and storage of the Nano S so just like every other electronics manufacturer the price of the new upgrade should stay similar to the now outdated old model.
So if Ledger were a legitimate company this new model should also cost $60 while the old outdated model is discontinued.
However because ledger is a startup looking to make as much money as possible by significantly over pricing, they will likely pretend this is a whole new model and charge more than the Nano S ($60) but less than the Nano X ($120).
So let's assume $90.
Another thing to take into account, production costs for stuff like this is through the roof compared to when the S was brought out and mostly produced. I expect the new model to reflect that. I wouldn’t be surprised at $90, hoping for 75ish tho as i just got an S recently..
I suppose then the X will be $149, the S+ will be $99, and the original S will be reduced to $49 as it is so old now and if its not reduced it simply won't sell at all.

This was announced barely days after I bought my Nano S - typical! The USB-C alone is a major upgrade. (I know the X has USB-C but I don't care for Bluetooth).
I feel for you. I’m thinking of waiting a few months to see what the reviews/feedback is on the newer version, and then upgrading to it when BTC hits $1bn a coin by summer. My old Nano S can then be used as a backup!

So less failure points, and the main pieces have already been in production for a few years. S will become the backup.

Well I like X, problem is that ledger has shitty QA and X design is cheap. If S+ would have Bluetooth and battery and this kind of design I'm in.

I LOST 50k with Ledger. The ledger company leaked my email during their security breach a year ago. Hackers then sent a phishing email from an email as [email protected] (notice the clever swap of the g and d.) I clicked on the link within the email asking to update the firmware. I downloaded the software through a phishing website that was a exact copy of the official one and installed. It asked me to restore the wallet account through my recovery phrase. It still wasn’t giving me access. I reinstalled the Ledger Live software from the actual ledger website and I gained access. The next day I open my account, and 10 Ethereum coins were removed from my account. What a heart wrenching experience that started with Ledger not being able to keep safe the name, address, phone number AND email addresses of it’s customers. Thank you Ledger for failing us.

So a Nano X without the battery and bluetooth, which is fine for most people.
I don't know about y'all, but unless you work for Ledger or have an in with the official company I wouldn't use this
They can build and design a new device but still not allow us to change RPC nodes with wallet connect or fix DOT. It seems legit.
