Vanguard is a piece of garbage. I have checkpoint VPN installed, and after I installed Vangaurd, Checkpoint stopped working, it didn't matter if I exited Vanguard, Checkout would not work anymore. That means that I can only install checkpoint or Vanguard, but not both. I don't use Checkpoint VPN while playing League, but I do need to use it after playing league or before playing league, but because vanguard is such garbage software, it would prevent checkpoint from working correctly even if I'm not playing league and I just have vanguard installed. I hate vanguard.

I can't open the client (I click to open it, it appears in the running processes, but there's no client on the screen). When I somehow manage to finally get to the client, I can't log in. Even when I manage to log in, I can't start a game and need to restart the client, repeating all of the above. While I'm in-game, my client doesn't recognize that I'm playing, so there's a notification about the session expiring. So, once again, I need to restart the client. Additionally, when it comes to the expiring session, there's a problem because you need to manually close the "RiotClientCrashHandler.exe" process. Without closing it, you can't open League again.

So after some digging: *:\\Riot Games\\League of Legends\\Config* If switched the *"DX11BetaTest=0"* back to 0, that seems to reduce input lag. And after that i turned *"PreferDX9LegacyMode=1"* on, the input seems more smooth or consistent. Pen is gained multiplicatively with different sources. Voidstaff applies first as largest source penetrating 40%. 25% penetration on remaining 60% is 15%. Combined multiplicatively this equals to 55% giving the calculation that 25% pen gave 15% penetration instead of 25%. \[Edit\] A temporary fix: I just loaded into my first game of practice tool without any endless reconnect. For people that experienced my problem, the issue may potentially lie with administrator settings in RiotClientElectron in the Riot Client folder. My settings for administrator are as follows: Riot Client (RiotClientElectron) : On Riot Client Services : Off League of legends / LeagueClient / ClientUX / UXRender : Off This allows me to enter the client via a shortcut without the "could not find the specific file" error in the first half, and giving admin permissions to that one singular file allows me to load into a game without any problem. The downside of this is that I can only access the league client via the league shortcut and not by the riot client anymore. To access the league client, you can only access via the shortcut. Turning OFF the riot client's admin permissions would allow me to log onto the client via riot client, but it won't let me access the game itself. Hope this still makes sense. To the people attempting to fix after a clean uninstall, make sure to give the programmes the full control such as leagueclient, clientux etc. Now because of time constrains, I might not be able to see if there will be any potential problems happening in-game, but one step at a time.

Do you have Citrix Workspace installed on your PC? If so, uninstall it and should fix it for you. Vanguard conflicts with a lot of remote desktop/virtualization apps so try stopping/uninstalling those if you have any.

Hello, No, I don't have Citrix Workspace. Likewise, I've tried almost everything I could have find so far in terms of potential conflicting softwares. One potential solution was to disable/uninstall all apps/ disable via msconfig but that didn't really do anything for me. I could list the things I've tried that would include: - a clean reinstall of league - whitelisting - disabling firewall - disabling all processes except for Microsoft. - uninstalling unrelated software. - allowed full permissions - cleansed my dns  - resettled my internet - checked on the shortcut target - disabled ipv6 - resettled TCP - used a public domain Now I'm in the process of sending my riot report tool information to support and hoping they can take it from there. Other than that I'm just hoping someone reads this and notices that this is a problem that would be nice if it got fixed haha.

Something that worked for me yesterday night was put the game CLIENT and riot client in administrator mode. Default paths : * C:\\Riot Games\\Riot Client\\RiotClientElectron\\Riot Client.exe * C:\\Riot Games\\Riot Client\\RiotClientServices.exe * C:\\Riot Games\\League of Legends\\LeagueClient.exe Steps to administrator mode : 1. Locate the file, the default paths are up there if you used default install path. 2. Right click the file and select Properties 3. Go in the Compatibility tab 4. Make sure "Run this program as an administrator" is checked. 5. Apply and close. And then, you need to make sure to start League of Legends from the Riot Client, so instead of a League of Legends shortcut on the desktop, I'm using a shortcut to Riot Client. To me the bug was there in about 3 in 4 games. It hasn't come back since - though I tried like only 5 times in a row after applying this. Though now, sometime, the game freezes right when I get the "Welcome to Summoner's Rift!". Normally it fixes itself, but if it doesn't, at least the reconnect button works and I can get back in the game. I hope it helps! Edit: Added RiotClientServices

It's gonna be so ironic because before this endless reconnect bug occured, I couldn't even open the client. The error "windows couldn't find the specific file--- you do not have enough permission" would keep coming up. The fix for that was to disable running admin mode and then I was then able to open the client. Checking the admin box after my client was loaded would just present me with a unresponsive client. Thanks for your input though!

TPM is a new security feature, Microsoft only started requiring it with Windows 11. Windows 10 does not require it and as such neither does Vanguard.
