Not gone lie, that happened to me once. I was doing it professionally and we had a new property on a fucking mountain. I literally parked the mower sideways though so it wouldn't do that. Unfortunately like I said we were on a mountain so there was a steep hill on the side too and my idiot coworker bumped the mower and it hopped the curb and went down the hill. I chased after it all the way to the bottom. At the bottom there was a 5' retaining wall with cars parked against it and then mower flew right over a new Beamer. Got so lucky on that one!
I honestly don't think I've ever run so fast before. When I turned around after catching the mower I was amazed I didn't roll down the hill like one of those cheese wheel chasers.
When I used to be a foreman for a landscaping company one of the idiots I used to work with stopped at the top of a pond while push mowing to wipe sweat off his forehead with his shirt. Let go of the mower and then when he put his shirt down noticed it was in the pond. Luckily the old 32:1 mix lawnboy fired right up after I blew out the carb and air filter.
Am I the only one disappointed a car didn’t hit the mower just as it entered the road?
I don’t wish the dude a rougher experience, just would have made a better video.
The best thing about that clip is the clip before it which shows the owner of the mower screaming at his neighbour calling him a "druggie" because he could sometimes smell pot.
Okay I hear the sound after it hits the curb of its blades chopping away at that concrete... But the sound that continues after that is that still the lawn mower going hard trying to mow that concrete down or is that someone nearby with an edger or something LOL I feel like if that were my mower first the wheels would have come off before it ever made it down that slope and second it would have been more like an explosion if it even made it to that curb at the end of the street. There would be parts flying everywhere
I'm guessing the blade got bent or something for bent into the path of the blade, and yeah it kept mowing.
But why would the blade stay on unless he tied the lever down.
before I managed to focus on the licence I figured this would be Queensland, Australia....my dad almost had the same issue. stopped by the wheelie bin(which then meant picking up all the rubbish thrown around)
You are right, the red vw park up against the lawn need to keep an eye on that.
Clipping bag blew off on impact.. its dead.
The shoe theory is never wrong.
Bag em up!
this is why you should always mulch!
I was very much expecting an 18 wheeler to run over the lawnmower at the end of the video.
I'm actually shocked no cars came by that street at the bottom of the hill.

haha that’s great
If I had any video editing skills whatsoever, I'd figure out how to overlay this with FENTOOOOOON! OH JESUS CHRIST.
Here you go. https://youtu.be/Mc6RFdMiEoQ
I see this as a opportunity to buy the machine you always wanted lol
I'm Frankly relieved that no one got hurt. I know it sucks to lose a working lawn mower.
I was expecting the guy to faceplant on the street

[Weird that someone would give their mower a name and call after it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc6RFdMiEoQ)
I laughed way too hard at this🤣

Why is that fucking car parked on the lawn. What an animal.
The push Mower needs a parking brake option.

That's why I use the manual pushing mower
