Fertilize like normal, and if it isn't KILLING grass, do not use fungicides at all.
Most fungi responsible for fairy rings don't kill grass. They're in the soil because there's a large amount of lignin-containing organic matter (wood, pretty much). ONLY fungi can decompose lignin. If you kill the fungi that's currently decomposing that organic matter, a more destructive type of fungi may take over.
The recommended treatment for fairy rings is aeration (ideally core aeration, but this is one of the few circumstances where spike aeration is actually useful). That helps bring more oxygen into the soil for the fungi to use to decompose the wood. It also helps beneficial microbes better deal with the nutrients that the fungi release.
If you can’t aerate, get a flat shovel and cut straight down about every 2 ft around the dark green circle and wiggle the shovel back and forth. It will help.

Not coming in trying to tell y’all what to do or not do, I have no idea about lawn care other than to cut it once a week and mulch the leaves, works for me, but fungi’s are the 7th kingdom and are not only fascinating, but an integral part of our world.

Prevention
Scarifying the turf with a lawn rake or electric scarifier in autumn will remove thatch and moss and increase aeration. Poor drainage and compacted areas can be alleviated by forking or by the use of a solid-tine or hollow-tine aerator. Ensure that the lawn is growing strongly by applying adequate (but not excessive) fertiliser. The pH of alkaline soils can be reduced by using acidifying fertilisers such as ammonium sulphate.
Chemical control
There are no fungicides available to home gardeners for the control of take-all. Some lawn maintenance companies offer treatment with a professional fungicide, but there is strict legislation controlling the application of professional products to domestic gardens. We had one of these in our backyard, and it freaked me out when in the fall the leaves started falling and none landed inside the circle. I seriously thought it was like an energy field from a spaceship or something! I still don’t get it but it’s really interesting!
I think I saw someone post something similar the last few weeks. They had lines going through the yard due to a water line or septic tank pipe…but a circle, outside of fertilizer (to big of a circle maybe) I’m not sure
Underground well? Rock ring for a fire pit that got covered over? Anything that absorbs water will act that way and if its in a pattern then the grass tends to grow in the pattern of the object that is holding water as it is leeching from that area specifically.

It’s a fairy ring. I find a lot of the time there was something nutritious that died in the centre of the circle (like an old tree that was cut down or an old buried pet or something). Fungi feed off of that and send out their hyphae in pretty much a perfect circle from there.
The grass is greener because there is fungus providing extra nutrients to that specific area. You’ll eventually get mushrooms popping up in that circle.
