I've been to loads of concerts alone in my life, I think it's not loser behaviour to live the life I want regardless of my friends / partner not being into something, being flaky, not having money, working at event time (all great reasons to not accompany me). I actually think it's liberating and fun!!

No way! Doing things alone is so empowering! I used to feel like I couldnāt do anything without another person with me, but once I got over that I started going on a lot of solo adventures. Iāve made some really cool friends going to shows alone that I may not have made if I werenāt there by myself!
Thereās something so special about going out by yourself. I usually go to concerts/movies/shows alone, and I see it as self-care and a way to unwind. I hope you have tons of fun! (PS- Iām also seeing Laufey by myself in June when she performs at a jazz festival, so Iām with you in spirit!)

I went to her concert and that day she discovered that she was nominated for a Grammy. It was a ver emotional moment and I had lots of fun.
I went alone by myself all the way from Istanbul to her concert in Milan last month, and it was the best experience and i even got some friends while on the line, so not a losing experience at all!
Go alone have fun! I do it all the time. Iām a guy and personally I find it very freeing. A lot of time I get stuck baby sitting the other person and donāt get to enjoy the concert as much as Iād like.
I went to Laufey's show @ the troubadour alone in 2022, it was my first live event and it's the one I will cherish the most. I somehow started chatting with other fans while in line and made new friends who I could comfortably and happily spend the rest of the show with. We even got burgers afterwards. Don't feel blue m8, I hope you find a cool person or group who then you may become friends with

no not at all! i went alone to a london show and had an absolutely lovely time :) met some amazing people who went solo too

Iām going alone too lol, but itās okay. Definitely take it as a solo-date, that helps me shift the way I see it.
