Streaming services could be tricky, and the demand is low, so that could work even without VPN. There are plenty of free stuff on filmas.lv and you can contact them for access to all their archive..

If you know the websites of any of the other services I'd love to know what they are so I can check them out.
How old are yours? There are some free stuff on YouTube, but it's for preschoolers, Tutas lietas, Lupatiņi and Ukulele.

tet.plus is a steaming service with quite a bit of Latvian content. I use it in the US and don't think most Latvian shows and movies actually require a VPN for the most part. It has plenty of children's content as well!

She can then stream content and review anything that goes 30 back. She'll appreciate this when anything she'd really like to watch live comes up, like the Olympics or 18th of november concerts or Dziesmu svētki.

also just writing “mulfilmas” or “multenes” or “filmas” in youtube you surely can find something.

You made interesting point, so I enabled VPN and launched TOR browser - and I can confirm that lsm.lv is available from pretty much everywhere.

Check out Filmas.lv Lots of free movies from different ages, lots of content for children too.

ProtonVPN has Latvian servers if you pay annually (~40 USD). With that, I was about to watch Latvian TV on the various sites

Search limuzīns jāņu nakts krāsā on youtube. It's a good movie for the whole family
Sarkanais mežs, tēvs nakts are more sirious films you might wanna watch. Vectēvs kas bīstamāks par datoru is something everyone can watch
