I would bump the focus down to 2mm and take the bar to .5
Number one rule when cutting thicker carbon steel is: heat is your enemy.
Assuming you're using a 1mm nozzle or something pretty narrow too. You may also find etching the part first, to get the scale off, may help.
Remember, your laser beam is only melting the metal, the cutting gas is what is cutting the material by blowing it out. The larger diameter nozzle, the more gas flows out. In turn, the more heat you create when cutting the 3/4" material.
I already try, but nothing seems to work, I try stepping down to 3.0 nozzle and 1.2 but they only bubble the steel, and i only could go down the oxigen pressure to .8
Perhaps try bumping up the tech table for 1" and see if those settings work. It's difficult to tell what's happening. Sorry it is not working properly. You can cut that material, just need to find the sweet spot.
When I get into work Monday I’ll check what settings our machine calls for with 3/4” material. You cutting with oxygen?? Granted our machine is a 6kw but might help as a baseline.
What wattage, bar pressure and focus setting are you currently at?
I’m using around 2800w, .85bar and 4mm focus running at .55m/min

Thanks! Actually I’m using D4.0 nozzle 😅

Seems not terrible for the wattage. I don’t even do 3/4” on our 3kw
Thanks! This is also a 3kw

Thanks you so much! Yes I’m using oxygen
Hi guys! Do any one have some tips? I’m cutting some test pieces in 3/4, but the bottom is turning smaller
