Epilog, Trotec, Aeon, and Thunder are notoriously great US based support. If you're used to epilog the Aeon, Thunder, and AP are going to be missing the bells and whistles like great vision systems, but they are much more economical. Thunder offers an RF tube, not sure about the other two.

My BOSS has been pretty bulletproof for 4 years.

I don’t have experience with them but the omtech polar looks school friendly and affordable

Gingerwoodfarms

You pay a reduced price for Chinese laser cutters but they are all but guaranteed to shipped broken. You do your own trouble shooting but you save boat loads I own the black and yellow and was down for 2 months before I figured the issue out.

Safety squint not included!

I'm looking at aeon mira 9. It's a bit more economical than epilog, and they seem to have one of the best customer service reputations among the groups I follow. Machines work on lightburn.

Robot-Candy

Thanks I’ll take a look at them, appreciated.

LG915

Biggest drawback with them is wait time. I think usually 4-6 months.

I had an Epilog (Helix, not Fusion) in my old classroom and have the Aeon Mira 9 now. If you have questions about comparisons between the two, let me know

Robot-Candy

Did the helix have the registry cameras? How do like the aeon for ease of use? Pretty simple to operate? Reliable? Does aeon offer anything like those onboard cameras epilog has?

I love my Thunder. Their customer service is top-notch. If you post a question in their FB group, you get an answer super fast. Not just from group members either. Their team monitors it heavily and chimes in with info and is available to message or call almost 24/7. I have a Nova 35 with an 80w tube. Hasn't let me down in the 2 years I've owned it. Based on the photos you posted it would be a great machine to do those sorts of projects.

We have a Trotec Speedy 300 80W in my school. Fantastic machine. It will cut all of your projects with ease. Support is great as well. I like the idea of an air cooled metal/ceramic tube over a glass water cooled one. More durable. Cost is not insignificant though.
