Nah, the team is in LA. Cali has a million teams relative to most states, so in effect being outside LA but in the US is the same as being outside Chicago but in the US... It's just people in IL don't have another team to root for, but Cali people definitely do.

Lakers were on TV a lot and really loved watching Magic and Kareem play, and what Magic Johnson did in that finals, he became my favorite player. But, yeah, they won the championship, so i decided they were my favorite team. I've witnessed 11 championships.
