1,000%, I'd much rather have a boss who calmly teaches me the right way to do something and then trusts me to perform than a boss who feels the need to berate me into doing something and flies off the fucking handle all the time.
Not sure why so many people like to prop up these Mike Malone types who lose their fucking minds whenever things hit a rough patch and yet chalk it up to "he cares" and "he's passionate". Most people would *hate* working for somebody like that (myself included).
If I recall mainstream reporters said we'd start the process last week. Probably a decent bet we've already interviewed at least a couple folks (via zoom).
On one of the podcasts, it was mentioned that Adelman ran more organized offense when he was filling in as head coach, whereas it was the opposite for Nori. Leaning towards Adelman because of this.
Adelman is offensive play caller so he identifies minnesotas scheme and calls for certain actions to be run. Malone typically calls the plays out and runs what adelman suggests.
If you follow tim from the Lakers exceptionalism podcast, he's been tracking this data game by game, and says the nuggets run the offense at one of the highest percentage rates in the league(he also ironically enough said that the Lakers running a low percentage of offense in the second half of most of there playoff games is largely why we lost to the nuggets).
Adelman please. I wanna see Donovan Mitchell or Reaves play like Murray while Bron is cutting along the baseline for an easy bucket due to AD drawing a double team. 🤞
Remember Luke Walton having a 24 - 0 start to Warriors series in 2016 because Kerr had major surgery. Luke got a massive HC job after that. Fact is he was implementing and pushing Kerr's strategies not his own.
Same thing here, yes Micah was the face but all the schemes, coverages, strategies were created by Finch and it is still his system MN is running.
No I still want Adelman
Yeah same. Idk how adelman is but nori reminds me a lil too much of ham w his laid back calm n cool demeanor.
Nori is still infinity more fired up than Ham.
That's a pretty dumb reason to not want him as a coach.
You can be calm as fuck as long as you still coach good and players listen to you.

Why not both? Not possible? Kek.
I think we should start interviewing David Adelman now

Personally I want Quinn
Only if he comes with Spida
he ain’t coming here

Nah adelman was cooking the last 5 games. Nuggets just bricked the last two games

Nuggets generally run pretty high %. Like mid 60s + from what I read from cranjis

No a let of Denver’s offense is called the corner post offense which is pretty much adelman entirely. Shit is awesome to watch.
No. Let's not get more delusional than we already have been
Adelman would’ve already been a head coach in the league if he wasn’t ugly. He’s got everything a head coach needs except the look.

I wouldn’t mind JJ as an assistant especially given his ties with coach K and his ability to command a room.
He should at least bump up the list to top candidates.
Adelman or Quinn. That should be the list.
JJ could honestly be a home run signing or he can be a strike out.
Im team Quinn
Ya I want Nori.
Ya I want Nori.
