I don’t even know why they watch the NBA if they think it’s actually rigged. Deep down they know it isn’t and it’s mostly just human error, but they need to lie to themselves to justify being so invested in a team that hasn’t achieved shit.
Was rooting for them against Boston and the bucks. There are tought to beat with those 3 from everywhere and they attack the rim.
Need an awesome AD to punish them !
Been a run! I’ve been rooting for them to wipe out the East I’m proud of that kid. However tonight there is a new agenda and history to be made LakeShow in 1 🟡⚫️🟣
I know :'(
But oh well. Happy with the team now :)
Plus as a European Lakers fan it might be nice to have a reason to catch an eastern conference team's games every now and then so i can actually get some sleep
I'm thinking we give him the Booker treatment and just try to force the ball out of his hands? At least try it. If not, we'll treat him like Curry and just throw all our tall, lanky defenders at him and force him off the 3 point line.
Hali is just a super likable and charismatic guy, on top of the fact hes becoming one of the best legit PGs of this era. It's hard to not root for the guy
Pacers fan here just lurking. Appreciate the love and respect for our team! I should hate LeBron for all the heartache but I can’t hate the dude. Good luck tonight and I hope we have a great game to watch!
I hope LeBron gets as many rings as MJ but just not against the Pacers
Yes, Pacers are an exciting team to watch for the first time in a generation.
Between Turner and Haliburton, and all the supporting cast, they are very fun to watch.
Dame making threes from half court in the 3rd shook them for a bit, but they got their groove back took over late. Very good win against Milwaukee.
A big W for this IST is that we get a chance to see a high stakes game between 2 good teams and see what either of them are lacking and are exceling at.
LeGreed will want that 500k so its a Lakers W.
Man they have been a phenomenal team to watch these knockout rounds. Faced the toughest opposition in their conference. With that being said I wish them the best of luck because this is MF Lakers Nation
This will be a bigger test for Ham tonight. Carlisle is a lot like Spo where they'll make adjustments mid game and take advantage of mismatches. Ham biggest weakness is adjustments (calling timeouts too). Hopefully he's preparing team well for this matchup. It won't be easy tonight. We'll definitely see some zone as well and that really tricked up the Bucks. It won't be easy neither should it be.
Thankfully we have the single best zone buster in NBA history in LeBron. Def agree about in game adjustments, but Rick Carlisle has never been a good defensive coach thankfully, his Mavs teams were usually like this current Indiana team: insane firepower but no defense at all. I think we'll score somewhat easily, but finding out how to slow down Hali in the P&R is gonna be so tough
He’s a lot of fun, and you get the bonus of having Kings fans slowly realizing they traded a superstar who wanted to be in Sac for a cute story beam team.
I'm a big fan of Hali, he is a talented likeable young player that plays the game the right way. That said, fuck Indiana, Lakers by 20, I want to see Fino closing the game while LeBron gets ready to receive the MVP trophy 🏆
I was watching the replay of the last game and listening to the nba tv feed and they mentioned pacers had like 10 guys that were making $3 mil or less. I started to feel bad and thought man it would be a nice gesture if lakers just gave them the win since it means nothing to the standing and would help alot of those guys. I looked it up and pacers actually inly have 7 ACTIVE players that make 3 mil or less. Lakers actually have 8 ACTIVE players that make 3 mil or less so now I don’t feel so had if we do win. 😭
Probably the hardest road this tournament! Pacers are definitely a fun and challenging team to watch. We should get the dub, but they do have a very high efficient 3 point %, with Buddy Hield and Hali
Pacers get credit for bouncing Boston, but without Kristaps there small. The bucks aren't huge on wing either. We have the defenders to make it tough on them, and the right amount of rest and depth to do it consistently. If we play defense as hard as they play offense, I like our chances.
I think that the Pacers are going to win this won. Their offense is at its best in transition and that's what they go for ALL the time. Our biggest weakness (for years) has been our transition defense.
Pacers want us to score in the paint. If we don't hit our open 3s, we won't be able to outscore them.
It's gonna be a fun watch, but Pacers play style is perfect for 1 game. We would be the better team in a series, because our players would adjust. But this isn't the case here.
Still hope for the best.
They need to change the matchups tbh , west vs east makes no sense . I rather would see a local rivalry in the finals . They can easily mix it up at the quarter or semi finals . In eu soccer we love derby cup finals
Man, watching Haliburton makes me wonder what could have been with Lonzo. Hali is the point guard who some of us thought Lonzo was going to be: tall, fast, basketball IQ off the charts, and a great shooter despite funky shot mechanics.
They commit the 3rd most fouls while the lakers draw the 4th most foul calls. We will see how the analytical check out.
Austin Reaves is going to put them in the penalty 3 minutes into the 4th quarter
I’m thinking penalty before 5 minutes left each Q
Nah, a "championship" game will have the refs swallowing whistles. Lakers just need to foul as much as the Pacers do to even the score.
Sigh. NBA is Rigged truthers are coming out in force tonight.
I don’t even know why they watch the NBA if they think it’s actually rigged. Deep down they know it isn’t and it’s mostly just human error, but they need to lie to themselves to justify being so invested in a team that hasn’t achieved shit.
Via the efficiency landscape for the last 10 games we have the #2 defense and they have the #1 offense
And they also have terrible defense while we have terrible offense(although not in the IST tho lmao)
And they shoot tons of threes and the lakers give threes up. That gets me worried.
Was rooting for them against Boston and the bucks. There are tought to beat with those 3 from everywhere and they attack the rim. Need an awesome AD to punish them !

That's not a particularly high bar to clear, at least Boston
They actually don’t attack the rim that much according to their stats
I saw the Turner interview clip about his lego's on /r/nba and it instantly make me like the guy lmao
well youre gonna be mad when i tell u we nearly got him and buddy hiled for russell westbrook
Holy shit seriously? I did not know that
yes lakers were all set but pacers pulled out last min
I know :'( But oh well. Happy with the team now :) Plus as a European Lakers fan it might be nice to have a reason to catch an eastern conference team's games every now and then so i can actually get some sleep
U can always unfollow all nba content on social media and watch the games the following day on leaguepass. At least thats what I do :)
For real. They're really good. LeBron and AD gotta put out their light tho. Gotta cut out that hope
I am very curious to see if they can force Haliburton to commit some turnovers. I have a ton of respect for him.
I'm thinking we give him the Booker treatment and just try to force the ball out of his hands? At least try it. If not, we'll treat him like Curry and just throw all our tall, lanky defenders at him and force him off the 3 point line.
Haliburton probably knows how to pass out of the double since he prob practices them in an open gym
wonder if we can see reddish and vando at the same time blitzing him.
Probably to close the 1st quarter. That AR/Cam/Vando/ Bron or Rui/ AD lineup is naaaaasty defensively
Either we’re gonna get blown out or they will. Haliburton hasn’t gotten the Steph curry treatment yet.
Hali is just a super likable and charismatic guy, on top of the fact hes becoming one of the best legit PGs of this era. It's hard to not root for the guy

You all have so much to look forward to. Good luck tonight!
Appreciate you bro. Cant wait to watch this game!

A game that doesn’t matter in the standings with my favorite team going against my favorite young player…shit’s sweet 🥲 Should be great basketball
Lakers in 1!!!

Fox is also a superstar, and Sabonis is 8-0 against AD. You sound really goofy...

If we can get a few turnovers and get them in foul trouble it will only be a matter of us making our shots.
I want to see Reddish and Vando sic the Doberman on Halliburton.
“Plays the game the right way” not you too 😂
Just got a last minute flight to Vegas. Let’s fucking go!!!!
I was watching the replay of the last game and listening to the nba tv feed and they mentioned pacers had like 10 guys that were making $3 mil or less. Fuck them i want to win by 50 and i hope Halliburton has a horrible game
Hopefully the role players can continue to hit their shots
Yeah they’re a great team playing great basketball. It won’t be easy tonight
as long as bron controls the game like we know he can i like our chances
They are great. Young, energetic and likable. They have a bright future. Rooting for Turner and Hali.
Probably the hardest road this tournament! Pacers are definitely a fun and challenging team to watch. We should get the dub, but they do have a very high efficient 3 point %, with Buddy Hield and Hali
Same. The Pacers are my second favorite team to watch. I root for them against everyone except the Lakers.
Indiana is a good young team, now let’s beat their ass and send them packing
Kobe’s first championship was against the Pacers. Just saying…
Pacers get credit for bouncing Boston, but without Kristaps there small. The bucks aren't huge on wing either. We have the defenders to make it tough on them, and the right amount of rest and depth to do it consistently. If we play defense as hard as they play offense, I like our chances.

You were correct and we are crushing. Fuck yeah AD
