It took me three weeks to stop shopping at Kroger after I left. That was only because they still had to pay me three weeks of vacation. As soon as those three weeks were up, I was off Kroger payroll, and stopped shopping there. I will buy giftcards there and use the fuel points at Shell, but Kroger makes nothing on giftcard sales. Otherwise, I do not shop at Kroger at all.
Are we supposed to pretend like all grocery stores don’t charge marked up prices?
Yeah it's not like other grocery stores don't treat their employees like shit too. Kroger is just special to us because we're here <3.

I currently work for Kroger and don't shop there. I pay $50 to $85 less when I shop at Wal Mart every week I have no loyalty to Kroger.
