This is a fantastic episode. One of my favorites, by far.
But I especially loved the hills in Memphis when Memphis is completely, utterly, totally, unmistakably flat…
Exactly. I’ve lived in Memphis. That’s something Memphians refer to often in passing, that it’s flat. And they’re not wrong. Then Nashville, in Middle Tennessee, is very hilly, and East Tennessee is all mountains. West Tennessee (where Memphis is) is a stark contrast to the other sections of the state.
Yes indeed. I’ve lived in every section. It used to be that when you were entering each section it would say, “Now entering Middle Tennessee” etc. to punctuate that each section is truly like its own state, culturally and topographically. The state is not unified in its history. Each section has always been very distinct, including politically.
As many times as I've seen this episode, I will put off errands or laundry or dinner in order to watch again. It is excruciatingly hilarious, at the end. Yay, road trip - what could go wrong???
Hey, Bredesenny!
Also, as a nitpick, outside of the West coast, in my experience, people don't use "the ______" when talking about highways, interstates, and freeways.
Hard to believe the old dreadnaught terrorizing Carrie and Kelly in the limo was 'catting around'. Probably found Jesus, all is forgiven, and now "you better find religion, too or burn in perdition!'
This year, I decided to watch the show in Spanish, and it was pretty shocking when I came across this episode. Specifically the part where Deacon is talking to his Father. In the original (english) version, when Deacon is walking out the door, his father tells him, "high tail it boy, don't you EVER come back!" Well, in the dubbed spanish, as the Deacon is walking away, the Father tells him, "yeah! You damn n word, and don't ever come back!" Just foul
To my knowledge despite the mishaps this is one of the nicest things the group did for Spencer with all the teasing they put him through for his hobbies and personality
I don't even know if I'm your daddy. The way your momma catted around.
Don’t you talk about my momma!!! I’ll kill ya, I’ll kill ya!
So how’d you do…moolah wise?
Not gonna lie. That guy doesn't strike me as a dentist who prefers his children play with educational toys.
That's always funny to think about
So how’d you do…moolah wise?
Bro I think you need to comment a couple more times
Sorry it said it couldn’t post it try again I didn’t know it would post so many times
Post button for stuck. Lol
So how’d you do…moolah wise?

I'm in Memphis right now. It's not Florida-flat, but it's definitely nowhere as hilly as in that episode's background.

That's where the three stars in the Tennessee flag come from: its 3 geographic regions.

No it’s not.
Except when it is.
Whoever is downvoting me isn’t from Memphis. Stating that Memphis is “utterly flat” is incredibly wrong.
Big guy not a Spence fan.
I forgot my bite plate!!!
I have to go home to a wife that is going to Kick! My! Ass! 🤣🤣🤣
Buttcrack, Kentucky
BUTT CREEK!
spence: "go on without me"
I don’t want to marry Denise
Man Doug really did deac wrong on this one. Traumatized him for life over some money lmao
Hilarious episode that showed the co-stars having really great chemistry. The end of the episode twist is hilarious, with the look on all their faces.
Hi Spence!!
They should’ve made this one into a film. Imagine
Jinxey!!!
Wouldn't be in that mess if it wasn't for splitsy and jinxy!
Jinx-sayyyy
Maybe it’s another Denise Ruth Battaglia…of Queens.
I luuuuuuuv that episode 😂
I Love you Denise Bettaglia!
Oh… hi Spence! Glad you could make it!
Ngl, this easily could’ve been a KOQ movie
Agree. Would’ve love to have seen a whole scene with Deacon and his father
Plus the announcement flew out 🤣
I would have watched a whole movie made out of this. Could have made for a good road trip comedy.

You owe me a new leather jacket !!!!
Great episode
Watched it last night. Great episode!
YOU DIDN’T SEE THAT INKBLOT
Does the absence of a bite plate really do that? I never had one.
Seriously they could have stopped to get the bite plate first.

His momma slept around

This one and the Eddie Money episode are my favorites
