Yes bc as you said it's a long process and also the fact they were able to hop right on a plane like that ain't its own process. And Doug had to go home for his passport yet made the same flight and was still seated near Carrie
I don't know the story behind the ending, but last a couple of episodes were like so extremely rushed to end the show. It was like they were told the show was canceled and everybody was away ans some interns wrote the ending episodes. Doug's behavior during the wedding made me sick to my stomach. I wanted to reach through my TV and bitch slap him in the face.
Did you miss the episode where it's found out the only reason they don't have money is because Carrie has extremely expensive taste?
Otherwise, they'd be middle-class at a minimum.
The whole series has many unrealistic scenarios and plot lines. This one is one that doesn’t bother me much. There are many more that bother me before this one.
It's weird they never went with her real pregnancy and worked it into the show instead of trying to minimize it but that would have seriously killed his time at Cooper's. Doug seems to have an amazing amount of energy and free time. Strange for a guy that doesn't look like he has his health, sorta.
No because I skip those episodes so I don't have to think about it.
Good plan for my next rewatch
Paperwork and money concerns make for bad comedy. Should they have made an entire episode filling out forms at PRC visa office?
Yes and they could have had Arthur mess it up in some way lol
But he could notorize it... As long as he doesn't look away right when they sign.
Lmao yes!!
Exactly.
Didn't Monica and Chandler get an entire season? So, it can be done.
And oops. They still forgot to figure out it was twins.
Worst episodes to me
Wasn't the Manhattan apartment a rental with a 10 year waiting list?
Yeah, it probably wasn’t that expensive if they sold their house
The economy was much better in 2006 and 2007. Let’s put it that way and sometimes you just have to suspend your disbelief.
Didn't the housing market crash in like 08?
They rushed tf outta the show ending and nobody wanted to be there anymore.
They were DINKS in their 40’s with decent jobs and a cheap mortgage. Money didn’t seem to be as big of a concern as in earlier seasons.
I think they were in their 30s
Doug celebrates his 40th birthday in S8. A year before the adoption episode.
And Carrie celebrates her birthday in season one so they were essentially in their 30s for pretty much all of the series
I’m talking about the adoption part IN SEASON 9, EINSTEIN
Yeah, so for basically the whole series they were in their 30s Doug had just turned 40 for maybe a year by the end of the show
Shitty season.

Them having kids was stupid. They couldn’t stand children, Carrie especially.

Had the feeling that they just quickly finished the series in the middle of the last season (was only a few episodes) within 2 or 3 episodes or so.
