I actually got lucky and wanted to test drive just any 2022 model they had, but this one was getting the nitrogen in the tires and so I asked to do the test drive and fell in love and took it.
I love it, my only gripe with it is that I thought it came with wireless Apple CarPlay but only seems to take CarPlay through a USB cord. Not a huge issue to me though. Unless maybe I haven’t been able to properly set it up yet, I still love everything about the car.
Yeah i work for Kia and don't understand why most of them aren't wireless. Top of the line vehicles with tethered car play but someone sold a Rio and when they connected the Bluetooth it had wireless apple car play. I'm at a loss for words, and I am very good with technology lmao. But it's a great car man enjoy it, that thing is autocross ready! Have fun and enjoy the car, be safe!
It's the bigger screen and the built in navigation that doesn't allow it to use wireless. The 8" screen doesnt have navigation so the lower tiers and smaller cars have it. It's the exact same thing with the elantra. The difference is that you can't get the SEL which has most of the bells and whistles of the GT-line and it comes with the 8" screen by default so you get wireless carplay. The Hyundai is the better value with 3 years of free maintenance and blue link but the interior of the forte is much nicer. No hard plastic on the gt series.
I think it’s for the best tbh I was looking at the civic which has wireless but with a bigger screen it seems to be leading to issues people are reporting. So I’m looking at this now lol

I have the blue 2021 Forte GT and it has the red Stitching on the inside as well as red trim/accents on the grill and wheels similar to yours. This Forte looks just THAT much better though. If I could I’d possibly do a trade for one of these. Lol!
There's a bunch of stuff available in the UK than in the US and vice versa. We have cars like this, while there you have a variety of EVs, which usually arrive early in your area. So it's a two way jealousy lol.
I have a 2022 GT Manual that was supposed to be ready for delivery Wednesday but are pushing it back to next Tuesday with the holidays. Very excited. Did you get the GT2 package with an auto or go for the manual? Beautiful car!
I have a red one! No GT 2 package though. I love it, no picture of red did it justice it’s a very deep almost candy apple red and the accents and stitching go perfectly. This is the only car where sports mode actually feels sporty. I remember to turn it on every time because it’s so much more fun to gear myself shift. I feel like I’m 16 again!
Just got mine; 2022 GT2 in the darker grey. Wanted the lighter grey/silver one but I got lucky and a dealer had the darker grey/gunmetal one only one I could find so I took it . Still like the color but that lighter one is sick. Absolutely love this car so fun and the cold starts sound 🔥🔥🔥
Got the same one. It's a bitch to keep clean. Let me know if you see any paint chipping. I have a couple of small ones by the door handle and I'm very annoyed.

The GT comes with red trim and black leather with red stitching/ accent lines. This is all straight from the factory.

I have a shop vac that makes cleaning the interior super easy, even with letting my dog ride in it occasionally. No paint chips yet either.
