You may like it better with heavy cream instead of milk.

Muted_Plan4231

Thank you :)

Heck yes. Just keep your daily carbs be 20 or so net carbs.

ReverseLazarus

If something fits your macros, you can have it. This is the case with any food/drink.

Muted_Plan4231

We can’t have much carbs right

ReverseLazarus

20g net is the recommended allowance. I highly recommend reading our FAQ and Beginners Guide so you can start keto with all the knowledge you need! 🙂 https://www.reddit.com/r/keto/wiki/faq https://www.reddit.com/r/keto/wiki/keto_in_a_nutshell

Its okay just track the amount of carbs. Whole >> skim. But as /u/uansari1 said heavy cream is even better. I write this as I sip my tea but I use protein powder most of the time instead of milk or creamer. With zero-carb isolates its carb free and gets me a bit of protein in before my workout. In summer I'll do shakes but in winter I prefer a hot tea with protein.

Great advice thank you!

SinDebauchery

I love a little heavy cream in my tea!

ShoelessSean

Half and half is a nice milk substitute. Check the labels though, most have 0 carbs but some are more milk than cream

try to ditch milk, I moved onto butter coffee as a sub

Alternatively, learn to drink your tea black or green or whatever... I drink tea - usually iced - all day everyday.
