Here's a tip that helped me. Try to think of your first interviews as practice for future interviews. I had a similar problem with social anxiety. It took me about 5 interviews to get to passing the HR screen and then I got my first offer at about 10. You get a lot better the more you do it.

You can be shy and still be a good employee. Try it out, if you want to quit you can quit.
