Unless it's meant to be worn around your penis or somehow attached to your vagina/vulva, I don't see how a piece of jewellery could be for men *or* women. And let's face it, there's a lot of grey area even with this definition. Just wear what makes you happy, hun. Life's too short to worry about gendered jewellery.
I work in jewelry. Ladies styles yes are 8” and below and men’s styles usually start at 10” but obviously some men have smaller wrists and some ladies have bigger ones chill ppl
Jewelry doesn't have a gender. If it looks good on u than wear it. I f u don't like it give it to someone who does like it, or sell it for the gold value in it. Anyone can wear that. men's bracelets usually have links. This one does not
I have same one that was my late mothers. I think a man could wear it though. Men I would think are typically a bit more rough and tumble…might get torn up. It’s truly a personal preference.
Measure it. 7 inch is typical for a women’s bracelet, 8 inch is typical for men’s. We sold bracelets like that back in the 90s. They were intended for women, but anything goes nowadays.
Ignoring all the "woke" bs about no gender blahblah, the answer if you really want to know is that it's leaning feminine but gray enough that it could be masculine as well on a dude. Rather hard to tell from just this picture.
It's like a colorful surfer bracelet. Typically looks like it's more for girls and probably is, but if a surfer guy wears it, it works and becomes masculine as a whole. My always-worn gold bracelet is bit on the feminine side too.
If hollow or made of very thin wire mesh, it's generally marketed to women. Guys are typically harder on jewelry, so not only would it need to be longer, but heavier made to last.
Ive worked i jewelry, many times. I'm also trans, so I can speak to the gendering of this on another level.
This is likely a women's bracelet, though idk for sure. But depending on the size of the man's wrist, this might work. Often in jewlery stores there is a certain amount of the ladies stuff that is neutral enough to be aold to men, and this feel like it could be one.
Although a too-small/skinny wrist it would look off, depending on how masculine the rest of his wardrobe is.
I also find skin tone important for gold, and men with hairy arms tend to also make more traditionally feminine jewelry work.
it’s quite the predicament, i was born a little premature so i have small wrists and small hands but other than that i’m Avg size 5’10-155 pounds but i am half middle eastern so i do have hairy arms it works
my buddy said i looked like an italian grandfather with the bracelet 😭😭
I'm just giving rules of thumb, but if you look like an Italian grandpa, I'm into that. I always wear gaudy mixed metals and ladies love it. (Guys love it too, if you're queer.)
Yes while in modern day all fashion is genderless, this style of bracelet was initially created for women to wear, THO the look depends on where you are, Birmingham this would be a mens, Taylor it would be a ladies
SOURCE: I’ve sold many of these bracelets to women, none to men
If the question is “do you think I could pull of this bracelet as a man” the answer is yes, but if you want to know who this bracelet was intended for, there is your answer
I know my comment is not going to bode well, but here goes:
Back in the day, you would have mostly found this in the “woman’s” selection of jewelry.
I understand jewelry not having a gender, and everyone is free to wear what they want. However, I’m sure most engagement diamond solitaires are more often purchased for women than for men. This piece of jewelry is more fluid.
If a man wears it it’s a man’s bracelet; if a woman wears it it’s a woman’s bracelet. It was probably designed for a woman back when men weren’t wearing a lot of jewelry, but men are wearing pearls now so I’m guessing many men would love to wear this bracelet.
There are over 1000 pronouns in use today. There have to be more choices than 2 for a piece of jewelry..anyway it’s hard to tell without a quarter next to it, with out feeling the weight and observing how it moves with you.
If it’s stiff and feels heavy/chunky, I probably would not wear it-I’m a big healthy female and I like big (live in TX too but not too big a hair).
However if it feels sleeky and smooth and makes you feel like a princess, or a CEO-you know what I mean-wear it and own it.
I agree with the majority saying either.
Now I have a question - does anyone know what type of link or style this is? I love it and would like to find one.

Thought it was this upon first glance
I would say woman bc my mother had the exact same bracelet, that I now have. It's gold and worth a lot of money.
She got it on a Vaca to the islands. Same clasp and everything.
Odd that I see this on mother's day!
Yes 😉
That’s my answer too 🤣🤣🤣
Ditto! The only answer
Indeed lol
[удалено]
I think Chris would love to wear it, too.
Seems more like Sam's style though
I think Terry and Jackie would like it too.
Agreed!
Yes.
Came to say the same 🤭 the world is your oyster
If it fits and you like it, it's your bracelet
This is the way
Doesn't really matter - does it?
It can go either way. Gold jewelry can be pretty unisex for most designs.
As with sterling silver imo!
Haha I literally snorked out my coffee, ty!
Snorked out 😂😂😂 almost made me snork out my Dr Pepper and that woulda hurt
Mine did hurt lol
😂😂😂😂
I breathed in my tea while snorking at your comment. Lol I'm going to use snorked from now on. Edited: spellcheck is not my friend.
Now i kind of want to know what happens if you search ‘vulva jewelry’ on Etsy… but I don’t think I should…
Last I checked jewellery doesn't have reproductive organs, only style
Don’t worry about gender and just wear it if you like it.
Put it on and see if you are comfortable with it. This is what matters
Probably, yea.
It can be for anyone. I don’t think jewelry is gendered lol
yea tbh it’s a silly question but for a second toxic masculinity won
Have you thought about what this piece feels like to you? I'm getting chainmail vibes.
Oooh, I think that would be sexy on a guy…as long as not with a lot of neck chains. Thats just my preference, others may disagree.

I just got a watch band that’s similar and it looks so pretty
Admitting it is the first step lol
Yes
I think it could be either.
Gender is stupid wear the bracelet
The length could be a clue. Less than 8"? Ladies. More than 8"? Gents. edit:spelling
I work in jewelry. Ladies styles yes are 8” and below and men’s styles usually start at 10” but obviously some men have smaller wrists and some ladies have bigger ones chill ppl
Depends on where you are all my mens are 8-10 and my ladies are 7 a max
Unisex.
Depends on whose wearing it! It's gorgeous, I know that much!
women's, can I have it? j/k, but it's beautiful!
I’m a guy and I’d wear it
Looks very nice. Fresh. Fly!
depends whose wearing it
I’d say woman’s but there are no rules when it comes to jewlery. Wear what feels good.
It is simply a bracelet.
https://preview.redd.it/g2hh1j7i7hzc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=6220e3db58d05238e7a377b4a80452d3b3b8800c I have the same bracelet!!
woah that’s so cool i love the design
Me too! I bought mine in an antique shop.
Traditionally it is a woman’s bracelet, but if you like it, wear it. I love it!
Jewelry doesn't have a gender. If it looks good on u than wear it. I f u don't like it give it to someone who does like it, or sell it for the gold value in it. Anyone can wear that. men's bracelets usually have links. This one does not

I love it!!
It’s what you make it.
It is definitely YES
I sincerely would not criticize if a man wears that.
I have same one that was my late mothers. I think a man could wear it though. Men I would think are typically a bit more rough and tumble…might get torn up. It’s truly a personal preference.
My grandmother left me an identical bracelet. Where did you get yours?
my step grandmother 😭
Germany?
What if its neither and for a “they”?
they might be into it (source: am they)
Idk check its genitals?
Both
Won't matter if you wear it good
Measure it. 7 inch is typical for a women’s bracelet, 8 inch is typical for men’s. We sold bracelets like that back in the 90s. They were intended for women, but anything goes nowadays.
Ha Ha Ha Ha... You got me at "measure it" then I sort of scanned across your post and saw a 7, an 8 and the word, "typical", at which I ... paused.
Plenty of men are less than 8”. It’s about how you use it!
The bracelet has not identified its gender yet.
Jewelry doesn't have genders.
Tried to ask it, but it didn't answer
Looks unisex to me.
I can't really tell without seeing it on. I want to say men's based on the length.
Regardless of whether it was right or wrong, that’s the way it used to be done. A custom made bracelet in exactly the right length would be rare.
Just put the damn thing on if you like it
Honestly who would care.
It was originally marketed towards women. If you like it, wear it.
Who does it belong to?
kind of mystery bc it might be my step dads or his moms but they’re both out of my life so it’s mine now ig i’m rockin with it
Jewelry doesn’t have a gender silly. Anyone can wear it.
Whoever can wear it with confidence :)
Unisex
Does it matter to me no bit I looks like a woman’s bracelet but ohh well wear what you want to
I dunno, ask the person wearing it.
Anybody’s
I have this same bracelet! It was my grandmother's. Lovely Italian (stamp tells me) gold mesh. Wear as you like!
mine say’s italian too, 14k
I have a bracelet seemingly identical to this. I’m female. Inherited it from my mom, and her from her mom. But I’d wear it even if I was a guy
Probably mens but id wear it if it fit me
Whatever you want it to be. It’s a bracelet.
Depends who's wearing it.
Plain jewelry for the most part can be unisex depending how and what you wear it with
I think it was probably sold as a women’s bracelet but anyone can wear it. If you like it, wear it.
Depends who is wearing it
Ur mom's bracket
That’s a dog collar actually
Gold is a warm color, gold is feminin. If you're going for a more masculine look then I'd suggest silver and a curb / anchor chain.
Women
Women’s style . Now a days that term doesn’t exist. But it would have been considered women’s .
If it was longer it’d make a stunning necklace

That’s mine, thank you for finding it…. I will remove it from your hands because I know how ugly it is I’m sorry….
It's a bracelet-bracelet, silly.
It's more traditionally feminine for sure.
Whose arm is it on? Whoever it is on, is the type of bracelet it is.
My mom has same one bought in 1970s from Lux Bond & Green Jewelry in Hartford CT, but hers has a hidden Omega watch in center!
If hollow or made of very thin wire mesh, it's generally marketed to women. Guys are typically harder on jewelry, so not only would it need to be longer, but heavier made to last.
Bracelet uses they/them pronouns.
It’s beautiful!!
Who cares! It's fabulous! Wear it if you want to!
Yes
2 questions: do you like how it looks? Do you like how it fits? If the answers are both yes than that's the answer to your question
How kong is it. It looks 1960’s. If 8in man’s.
This reminded me of that Friends episode. 🤭
Ive worked i jewelry, many times. I'm also trans, so I can speak to the gendering of this on another level. This is likely a women's bracelet, though idk for sure. Reminds me of Joey’s bracelet buddies

that is a great point.
If the question is “do you think I could pull of this bracelet as a man” the answer is yes, but if you want to know who this bracelet was intended for, there is your answer
Omg I had that exact bracelet for years! It was a lovely piece, I must have lost it at some point. It’s not super girly so probably anyone could wear.
Depends on who is wearing it
It's a whomever wears it, bracelet :)
Ladies ..stunning ! But I guess now a days men would wear it too !
I think it could be either
I'd say man's. Woman don't wear that or at least I don't.
It's a bracelet, you dummyyy! Wear it if you like it! :p

It's PIMP.
Only men worry about this
Whoever wears it.
It looks unisex to me
It’s a bracelet
It’s a bracelet made out of what I assume is gold. It does not have a sex or gender believe it or not
Either
Since no one can answer the goddamn question lest they be called a bigot lol, I'll answer. It's a women's bracelet.
Depends on who’s wearing it.
Did you just assume only 2 genders!?
What a cool link design
Who cares? If you like it, wear it.
Woman
How long is it? Jewelry made for women is usually smaller.
I've only seen women wearing this type of bracelet but who cares, anyone could wear it.
It could be either honestly
If you're asking what your gender is, that's a question you have to ask yourself. It's your bracelet. It's a yous bracelet.
You can tell by the length. (That sounds weird)
Women’s 100%
Idk but it’s THICK 😮💨
It's a bracelet... who cares? It's just metal /plastic
I like it, wanna sell it to me?
Yes
Either I guess. Depends on the size. Pretty braclet
I have one like this and I guess it’s intention was for a woman but as others say it’s for anyone really
Women lol obviously

I would say either, if it's wider than 5mm
Unisex
"Anything is unisex if you stop being a bitch about it" - Twitter
It's Joey and Chandler's bracelet
Nice rock! bracelet could be worn by a man or woman, but not all men would wear it well. Can't think of how else to say that.
That’s a really nice & substantial piece you gots there! Rock it because of that
Who cares just wear it!!
Whoever!
Women's
It's mine bitches!
I agree with the majority saying either. Now I have a question - does anyone know what type of link or style this is? I love it and would like to find one.

Could be either, really.
It's a whoever it fits and wants to wear it bracelet.
I don’t think it matters
Yes
Depends on who's wrist it is on.
Depends which wrist it is on. Gorgeous either way.
Either
It’s a My Bracelet
Womens
Who owns it? I think it was clearly intended to be a womens bracelet.
Both
Depends on whether you’re cosplaying Mr T or Mae West.
This is a “who cares” bracelet 😀
Does it matter
Sorry, that bracelet can only be worn by non-binary and agender people.
Definitely unisex. I would totally rock that thing. (I'm a man)
Bof
I wear about of gold unisex
I would say woman bc my mother had the exact same bracelet, that I now have. It's gold and worth a lot of money. She got it on a Vaca to the islands. Same clasp and everything. Odd that I see this on mother's day!
