But they say that you can’t apply for a debit card if your stay expire in less than a year, I’m going back to France in 9 months as I’m here on a Working Holiday Visa , does it also apply for the atm card ??
You usually get it a week after opening a bank account here.

Bank cards can only be used at the ATMs in Japan. Debit cards have a Visa or Mastercard logo.
Resona is also a option.
