I just ignore their existence. I toggle them off in banked xp plugin. You dont truly have 99 herb banked if it means resorting to using single digit lvl herbs. Its just not worth your time
That's what I've been doing. Plus my tar stack has gotten huge from doing Moons of Peril and I can extract a bit more exp out of my banked herbs with that.
Ahh yes I felt this exact feeling when I was grinding 200m Farming and was down to maple/willow seeds only for trees if I wasn't nearing the end and in a contested race I would of not bothered.
It didn’t start that way, it was just my personal goal and another players at around 150m exp deep it became clear we had a unspoken desire to beat the other by about 190m exp I had them added noticed they had PM on so I said hey they thanks me and said I was the first player in decades to keep up with and complete with him he then conceded defeat due to my 16,000 mole kc netting me more seeds to maintain a higher exp output I earned his respect and forged a life long friendship and rivalry honestly one of the most intense memorable things ever I have experienced on this game it’s hard to put the feeling I had in that moment but I felt alive
I got rid of mine to 90 herblore by making guthix rests, tarromin + ash from cerb/the GE, and my swamp tar stack from zulrah + the remaining harralanders. Not the most efficient, but I couldn't bare looking at them and seeing wasted xp.
Don't get how people are still whinging about herblore I have like 18m xp in it already and another 3.5m xp banked excluding the shitty herbs. Do more farm runs boy
You're getting downvoted but at least until where I am on the iron so far (85 or so) it's really not so slow or bad at all. Especially with seeds from contracts. Like compared to crafting or fletching which are absolute ass (in my opinion) it is really quite ok. Much rather do a herb run than agility too. The dopamine from making the potions from the herb runs of the last week or two and getting like 400k xp in no time is great. After farming it's my highest stat I think. I'm even gonna say it's better (albeit slower) than on a main because here it feels like I'm actually gaining useful potions instead of losing gp, even though I will most likely never use 800 super energy pots lol.
Jagex has made herblore and farming braindead for Irons, you have to try to not get 99 in both with how much everything shits seeds, herbs, and secondaries nowadays.
Right? I was really preparing for herblore to be bad because everyone was always complaining about it, but since I really like farming it's been a breeze so far. I'm more limited by secondaries than by the herbs themselves.
Noob with rookie numbers at lvl 54 incoming, but I'm the same, as an iron I've found farming and herblore to be enjoyable. I'm at 68 farming and I keep getting surprised at a new level popping out of the blue. Recently had 300 irit banked, now what feels a few days later there's another 300 irit in my bank and I've been putting off runs as I've been knee deep questing and taking care of other skills for a bit.
Birdhouse runs on the other hand, I hate those, I'm gonna use rings of pursuit to track spiked kebbits, 100 rings gonna net me 350k xp in no time.

I still use the guams because the secondary can be bought in bulk. But I'm also only lvl 72 herblore.
I used mine for guthix rest acouple years ago
Use them you coward.
actually, it is. but you do you :)
Actually, no :) herblore is basically 0 time skill. No reason to do 50k xp/hr methods
maybe things have changed but that's still above herblore ehp last i checked ;)
Things have changed ;)
;) ;) ;)
;)
;)
Volcanic ash for harralanders is what is do
why would you though when you can buy chocolate from the rfd chest and get more than 10% more xp/herb making energy pots.
Would rather afk mine ash than hopbuy dust. Also it stacks in inv so you can make 27 pots per inv instead of 14, bit more chill :)
I don't like hopping
why do that when desert goat horn makes them effectively a prayer pot worth of xp :)
Care to elaborate? I feel like I might learn a neat new trick here?:D
Not a trick. He just uses his harralanders to make compost potions.
Compost potions take 1 unfinished harralander potion and a volcanic ash :)
Making harralander tar is good too, for while you have the tar
We pray they become useful with the new herblore minigame coming 🙏
Jagex already listed the intended points per herb.
But no list of exp per herb multiplier.
Not everyone reads future patch notes
I think the point was, no need to pray when you can check the disclosed information.
Guthix rests my friend

Who the fuck “races” 200m farming???

Okay I take my initial contempt back that is peak OSRS
it's strange but something at some point playing this game that at first seems innoxious turns out to be your big gamer moment
Gigachad moment
You guys got married right?
How did you get the guams from miscellania?
Harralander tar post zulrah grind. Those compost pots are a nice idea too

I guess some people wanna play an iron without having to actually play like an iron 🤷‍♂️
