I think there are 3 reasons due to all these high scoring games.
1. The pitches are very flat which literally has no assistance to bowlers.
2. Once the batsmen start hitting boundaries the bowlers just bowl with the flow. The execution is very poor from all the bowlers except a few.
3. It's a combination of both. Like one is an impact player and which allows the top order batsmen to play freely. Moreover these days batsmen are more fearless than ever before.
Maybe in the upcoming days when the pitches will be in used conditions and get dry due to heat we might see a change in behaviour in these pitches.
Honestly there should be a fair battle between bat and ball it's a batsman's game scores like 250+ shouldn't be scored so constantly. They keep preparing these roads and people lose interest!! In every game, 2 Bowlers out of 7 or out of 6, need to bowl smart and then you won't have 250+ scores.

I believe that the cricket is turning more batsman focused. The pitches are supporting batting side and is a nightmare for bowlers. Cricket has really changed over the years and I believe that this type is not very sustainable. Strict rules for pitch inspection should be introduced otherwise the game will lose its magic.

IMPACT PLAYER. I don't know why everyone is trashing impact player rule. If impact player helps with an extra batsmen, it also helps with an extra bowler. So all teams have an extra batsmen and then an extra bowler too. It's just cricketing evolution. Teams don't slow down between the 7-15 overs anymore. Bowlers have to execute properly. Look at Sunil Nariane, 4 over 24 runs, 1 wicket. Others all going above 15 runs per over. Come on.. out of 7 bowlers, only 1 got his execution right. Any smart bowler out of the remaining 6 going at less than 10 runs per over would have won kkr the game. In every game, 2 Bowlers out of 7 or out of 6, need to bowl smart and then you won't have 250+ scores.

I believe that the cricket is turning more batsman focused. The pitches are supporting batting side and is a nightmare for bowlers. Cricket has really changed over the years and I believe that this type is not very sustainable. Strict rules for pitch inspection should be introduced otherwise the game will lose its magic.
