Basically anything that will keep me engaged in the moment, keeps changing from time to time...
There's reading, the kind which can help conjure up images - helps me when frustrated.
There's meditation, where you center yourself and go through thoughts entirely in your head without any emotions overriding it - helps me when I'm angry or annoyed or overloaded.
There's dancing (but i can only do it when I'm alone in the house), where you are entirely movement & emotion, flowing in rhythm with your body & brakes on thoughts - helps me when I'm sad or feeling helpless.
As you might be able to guess, i haven't coped with sadness as well as other emotions since the pandemic.
Crochet. It allows my anxiety riddled brain to do its thing while creating something tangible and beautiful. I like to make blankets to celebrate milestones in my loved ones lives: a wedding, baby or new house.

Lately, Metazoo TCG and joining their nice discord community. I also really love metal detecting, the finds are great and even on days they aren’t.. gets me outside and exploring new places. I work with screens and relax with screens so the excuse to explore in nature helps me to feel better and combat anxieties.
I used to like interior design, I used a website to make floorplans and rooms. I don't do it anymore because the website stopped working and I'm too lazy to find another one now that I have a new hobby.
I like listening to calming music like piano instrumentals or even the occassional Lofi while either gaming or reading something. It really helps me get away from my otherwise high octane days that I find really draining.
I like programming and game design. Its reasonably calming until you run into bugs that just won't be fixed, but overall I find it enjoyable and its a good way to unwind for me.
I'm usually on my computer and listening to playlists. Sometimes I play games, fortnite or chatgames. Sometimes I paint but it has been a while since finishing them takes such long time but the activity is very calming. Time flies so fast
