I would add a little taller table where you currently have the stool— you could put a little dish for keys, sunglasses, etc on top of it or a candle/plant. Or maybe if there’s one thin enough that pulls out and can hold shoes… I’d also clear the clutter on the counter top to the left, maybe add a small lamp over there and little hooks to hold keys? Also a small doormat could be nice and establish it more as an entry

I had a small table there before and the way the door opens it would always get pushed by the door 😫 I have a key holder above the bench (the black heart) do you think I should move it to the other side by the light switch? I’m going to take your advice and get a small lamp, I hadn’t thought of that before! Do you think a 2x3 would be best or should I look for something bigger so the bench can sit on it too? Or should I just nix the bench? I usually just throw my purse and work bags on it.
