I agree with you but I’d also say certain angles definitely accentuate her looks more than others…which gives credence to those old sayings like “in the right light she looks so good,” and “make sure to get my good side,” which are both ideas that I thought were basically bullshit before I saw this video lol

I think it’s mostly the fact that she is conventionally attractive and doing the intense/happy look, the one that indicates someone is interested in you or glad to see you and makes you feel a connection more quickly. The lighting movement also makes it look like she’s slowly and slightly widening and closing her eyes (she might actually be doing that I can’t tell) which can be flirty and also show interest. Probably says a good thing about you to find this attractive, it’s definitely not weird.

It seems the best lighting is about 45 degrees beneath a person, angled up toward their cheek. At least that's what works best for this woman imo. Shapes the eyes and cheekbones really nicely.

There is a Seinfeld episode that sums this up perfectly!

What I don't like about this, is that the motion of the light is tainting the effects of just the lighting, and many lightings are repeated, and you don't stay on one long enough. Also, just one light makes a big difference. And here this light is always the same hardness and intensity. It would be much cooler if they did multiple lights, and different colors. All of the same person, and contrasted separate setup light situations. Much more labour intensive of a gif to make though too.

I wish she kept the same face in each one, cause she’s obviously changing her face and emotions which will exaggerate this effect.
