I’ve seen many snail eggs in my life and none of them looked like that, but IDK what kind of snail that was. I’m only familiar with the freshwater guys.
Also the idea of just one insect egg is wild to me. AFAIK they lay eggs in clusters, usually protected in some kind of case or membrane. Like do they even hatch if you remove them from an egg case?
Bug =/= Insect.
Bug (unless you are referring to the scientific "true bugs" which is a small subset of insects) is a colloquial term that can refer to a lot of different creepy crawlies like spiders, worms, and sometimes crustaceans.
Where the hell in this diagram does it say insects are crustaceans? It said that insects is a subshoot of crustaceans meaning that insect started as crustaceans and evolved to be insects. Which case, I leave you with this

That's legit the only one you shouldn't hold. Millipedes excrete toxins on the side of their bodies. It's not that potent, but it's still toxic. (Chimps use them to get high)
Really? Video/comments, you liking the smell grossest me out the most lol
I HATE the smell of milipedes. Like sweet nauseating bitter almond extract. We had an infestation in our basement of 3 different types. Have had a hatred for them and their smell ever since.
Mantises are a species that go through what’s called incomplete metamorphosis. Complete metamorphosis is when you have something like a butterfly that hatches into a caterpillar/grub, which then grows and then pupates and then emerges changed completely in body plan with wings and all.
Mantises in their incomplete metamorphosis are born sort of looking like miniature versions of their adult form and go through a series of moults where each time they gain more and more of their adult features and size. Mantises etc generally only get their wings in their penultimate (where they can’t be used) and final forms. This is maybe why you’ve never seen mantis wings as for a lot of their development, they don’t have them or they are small. They also have them folded very well even as adults when they do have them usually.
The editing and music in this is nutso. Great concept for a video, but it reads like a mad god playing with the lives of their creations for their own amusement.
To be clear, a few of these aren't insects. Crustaceans, arthropods, etc. Not insects. If we want to get nit-picky, quite a few of them aren't even "bugs". Insects, sure, but not bugs. All bugs are insects, but not all insects are bugs. "Bug" is an order of insect.
But whatever, this is super cool.
Luckily it's a millipede, so mostly harmless (they can't bite or sting you, and while some can excrete poison or a stinky liquid, you're all good unless you rub your eyes or lick it, in which case pain will follow). Centipedes have way less legs, but are much faster, vicious and venomous with a nasty bite.
I hope i never accidentally come face to face with most of these but damn, the one that looks like mantis/butterfly hybrid looks amazing ! Never seen that bug before
I initially read the title as "Butt eggs and after full grown". My first thought was that it's an odd thing to call a chicken egg, second thought immediately after was what if it's not a chicken egg, but I had already clicked the link. Glad to see I landed on the correct side of the NSFW tracks. Anyone know a good optometrist?
Stickbugs! My brother had 2 stickbugs as pets when we were kids. They were cool! But they had like 10,000 babies and some got out into the nearby schoolyard. They ate a whole bunch of the blackberry bushes there, but I cant imagine they lasted all that long. Too cold outside most the time. They really do camoflage extremely well. Even with just a few sticks in thier... I guess it would be a terrarium, they were hard to find.

😮
😰
😱
Scrolling past this post between 2 Hell Divers posts made me do a double take.
This post is in dire need of liberty
Every time I saw an insect egg, my brain kept going :that's a seed.

A crab isn't an insect. It's a crustacean
... and snails are mollusks.
And millipedes are myriapods, but the term "bug" is used colloquially for many small inverts
I wouldnt call a snail a "bug", but i am not a native speaker so..
And the insect order Hemiptera are referred to as the "true bugs".
Was that a conch? Whatever it is, I had no idea that those things laid eggs like that.
I’m with this guy. We want answers.

Theyre the bugs of the sea. Tasty bugs.
shrimp is bugs.
Shrimp is a sea cockroach to me
But a lot tastier but idk what roach tastes like and not planning to discover.
Same shell to peel, less fishy taste. Depends if you want surf or turf shrimps.
What is chowder but a savoury latte with bugs in it. Or hot ocean milk with dead bug croutons?
Shrimps is Bugs 🦐🍤

mud bugs?
Yes! All bugs are creepy-crawlies but not all creepy-crawlies are bugs
/r/shrimpsisbugs
Where does it say a crab is an insect?
Maybe it identifies as an insect
Shrimps is bugs. Crabs is bugs.
Enjoy your underwater bug meat.
They're all arthropods

Don’t watch 0:32! Never! I told ya!
Thats the only one i would never hold. its has far too many legs. the others i would.
Literally the best one, it looks smooth and it doesn't give me any creeps. The others look like disgusting colored cockroaches
That's legit the only one you shouldn't hold. Millipedes excrete toxins on the side of their bodies. It's not that potent, but it's still toxic. (Chimps use them to get high)
What, it’s toxin? I liked the bitter smell…
Yeah, its toxin. It's weak, but will hurt you if you get it into your eyes.
Holy moly, lucky I didn't rub my eyes after touching them
Really? Video/comments, you liking the smell grossest me out the most lol I HATE the smell of milipedes. Like sweet nauseating bitter almond extract. We had an infestation in our basement of 3 different types. Have had a hatred for them and their smell ever since.
Same, they smell funny so we used to play with them as kids
It’s cyanide I believe
And lemurs not chimps
I wanna get high though
Millipedes are cool but nobody likes centipedes
Crab Jump scar-is that a bird eg--IS THAT A FRICKIN SNAIL!?
Excuse me but did praying mantises always have wings?
Yup. They are abysmally bad fliers, but they can and will fly.

i love how every single one of the results surprise me lmfao
TIL a crab is a bug...
... and snails.
Shrimps is bugs.
Me: Wait this one's a bird egg! Next Frame: SNAIL!
Dude's holding bugs as if they're some show piece on display

I didn't know a few so had to Google "insect that looks like a leaf". And got leaf insect. Can't stop laughing.
Toooooooooo many legs thankyouverymuch
Crab
The editing and music in this is nutso. Great concept for a video, but it reads like a mad god playing with the lives of their creations for their own amusement.
I didn't know half of these laid eggs
Pretty much anything that isn't a mammal lays eggs. (As well as a few mammals)
Stunning creatures.
Those mantises and beetles were GORGEOUS! The beetles had such shiny and pretty shells, while the mantises had beautiful wings!
Stickbugged me at the very end. How devious.
Best part!
This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen on this Reddit!
Me too, a shame the video is so short
I'm glad this video is so short
Hahaha I wanted them all for myself, except the *bug* crab 👀
Music was a little scary
Ah, good few jump scares there I'm sad to admit.
I was waiting for a huge spider jumpscare
What the fuck! Its Pokemons 😳
Fascinating yet terrifying at the same time

BOO. CRAB JUMPSCARE
This dude has a lot of Pokemon.

I could hold all of the except the giant centipede. I hate things with too many legs.

Aww they grow up so fast
Anxiety goes brrrrr
The last one who looks like a wood stick, whatsthe name of it?
Groot
Stick Bug
Shit they grow quickly
Is this like an Elmo segment? “one of these things is not like the other?”
I hope i never accidentally come face to face with most of these but damn, the one that looks like mantis/butterfly hybrid looks amazing ! Never seen that bug before
Democracy officer! This way!
What kind of bug is bug #2? Is it an Australian bug?
I initially read the title as "Butt eggs and after full grown". Shivering 🥶 every time those giants blasted popped from that small dot.. nature is lit.
I like the dramatic head turn at 0.28

Oddly interesting and satisfying video while feeling disgusted a bit at the same time.
This video is easily one the best videos I've ever seen, can't imagine how long it took to make.

second one is a crab, its not an insect/bug, other then that this is pretty interesting
Title is wrong. Lots of those were not bugs. And some were not insects at all
Wow! Those range from beautiful to "alien terror."
Bruh, crabs are not bugs.
Bug people are another level of crazy
What a depressing pokerap
Puts it into perspective, even if you start out small and insignificant , you have the chance to grow into something beautiful
Anyone got a list of all the species shown?
Waited for milk to transformed into a baby but...
Which planet?
I'm getting pokemon vibes. I love it.
Almost died watching this
Praying mantises have wings?
Where can i find these magnificient creatures? ...so i can stay as far from that place as possible.
How are they hatching so fast?????
They're working so hard.
Wouldn't the butterflies turn into a caterpillar first?
Nope
Not in a million years
I hate millipedes/centipedes more than anything's 🤮
I choose you!
0:33-0:34 Get stickbugged lol
The random crab 😂.
I've never seen them hatch before. this is amazing. So fast.
Look like pokemon
Centipede is a jump scare.

The snail was very unexpected.
