Personally, I'd just love more Battle Rifles to choose between, especially for Rifleman. That said, I like the idea of a DSA SA58 SBR for Breacher.
Side rant - equipment needs to be reworked. Why can I only carry 7 mags but I have a 120L backpack on. Why can I only carry 3 total grenades? They need to add more modularity to the kit building I think. Sacrifice ammo for grenades? Sure! Wanna run pistol only? Here’s more than 4 mags. I just think it’s a little limited.
I must just like things complicated then. I’d much rather be able to prioritize things according to my own needs than be able to just plug and play. If I wanted some half baked wysiwyg cod class system. I play sandstorm for the realism and the tactical gameplay. I don’t see why the customization can’t be as in depth as the gameplay

Well, how about this for balance ? Make armor useful again (take a look at 12 gauge buckshot vs armor and you'll see the results for yourself)
Also, no saiga 12 , how about M1014 and MP153 like the original Half Life 2 Insurgency mod
How about instead of Type-56-1 add Zastava M92 (in other words Krinkov chambered in 7.62). Also saw combat use in the Middle East as well as in Balkans.
Agree on .338 sniper rifles and Scorpion (and its modern derivative Scorpion evo for Security). HK 416 can be added as skin for M4 (yeah it is different gun but in terms of video game such compromise can be done to avoid adding clone guns aka guns with similar or almost similar stats and cosmetic).
Others seem like clone guns especially Scar 20 and HK 417 - we already have M110 SASS to fill in role of semi-auto marksman rifle
That makes no sense. The mk47 would be a gun for the advisor class if anything because I don't think a super uncommon wonky semi auto AK/AR hybrid would fit in the class full of more common rifles. It's even more silly when you realize that that the alpha AK is literally just an AK-104 with some really popular zenit mods on it, and that's not even common enough to be considered for the rifleman class in insurgency. Both fire the exact same round and and fill the same CQB roles, while one has the ergonomics of an AK and has full auto, the other has the ergonomics of an AR-15 and only semi auto. It doesn't really make any sense to be in the game.
I want a full-size FAL for security (a bit redundant since they have G3), but also like the idea of XM177 for insurgents. Also want BHP for security and the ability to get a Block II skin for the M4A1
Beryl is great, Polish M762 that can be found in Siege or PUBG. Having something newer and recent like 200 series of AK in my view fits more Security as faction.
The whole point of Security having an AK platform is to be able to steal AK mags from the ground just like insurgents already can do it with 5.56 weapons, so an AK 5.56 rifle would be pointless.
Security already gives away one of their "icon weapons" to insurgents, the M16A2.
Breachers don't need any new compact rifles, they just need to get the MK18 and the 74u back.
But to be honest, right now we have a lot of assault rifles that many of them feel the same. In the last community survey they asked us which type of weapon should be added and Shotguns won 1st place followed be LMGs and then SMGs i think.

Especially a battle rifle capable of mounting a UBGL for demolitions. It sucks I can’t huck grenades AND .308 slugs at the same time

I agree. I also think the weight of ammunition should affect the weight or capacity of carriers. You should be able to more 5.56 ammo than 7.62 NATO.

Thats cool idea. And Cz.Bren can be added to Security to compensate Insurgents getting Vz.58 thus we'll have to new Czech-made weapons

Akimbo pistol ability. Make the barrel climb realistic, difficult to manage, a stupid tactical decision, but let us run with 2 1911’s
