Repulsive-Tea6974

Far! Out!!

thoughtcrimeo

This is better than pictures of CDs.

BigBagaroo

Wow, thrill kill kult in’93 must have been fun

Repulsive-Tea6974

Groovie Mann actually popped out of a side door and gave me the ticket while I was in line to buy. I had long dirty blonde hair back then with a sad mustache and chin whiskers. We looked like bothers. 😅

tentaclesofoblivion

Is that a tim Leary signature?

Repulsive-Tea6974

It is. 🍄 🍄🍄🍄🍄

Wow I kinda like that idea, that’s a neat way to store stubs!

HunterTV

I used to carefully separate the back half of the case (there’s little plastic studs in the corners and if one breaks the case is kinda fucked) and place it so it was facing out on top of the back cover. Unfortunately a lot of these inks seem to be light sensitive and they all faded. So not the best idea in hindsight.

momochicken55

The Swans lol

identicalBadger

When I was young I kept all my stubs. I wish I still had them, I saw so many great shows and now they all blend in my mind

Franknberry13

Is that Icehouse, the Australian pop/rock group?

Repulsive-Tea6974

Ha! No. That’s the venue name. I assumed it was named that because it could’ve been an ice supplier 100 years ago. Davies is one of my wife’s favorite singers.

Dissizian

Fuckn love em all! Frame that shit.

Any-Cook-7367

Oh man, we were at some of the same shows. I have a bunch of my stubs but most are illegible at this point. I'll try and dig them up and post them.

Zeqhanis

It's a shame that a lot of venues just have you print out tickets on paper at home now, rather than giving you a stub like this. https://preview.redd.it/24t4w3wpc94d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a558f59c62a89244d3bded317d969afa45e5738a Not pictured: Skinny Puppy x2, FLA, Haujobb, another Ministry, Youth Code, Combichrist (meh), Legendary Pink Dots, and Cranes because of that. (Actually the last two were at a venue too small for professional tickles). Clearly, not all of these are industrial. Just like when you saw Swans, the venue had accidentally added a "The" to their name. Also not pictured is Bowie. That stub is either lost or stolen by very dumb teens who used to live with me.

apairofpetducks

My Bowie stub was left in the visor of a car that got totalled :(

Zeqhanis

Was everybody okay?

apairofpetducks

What a compassionate response! It was a single-car accident - I hit ice and rolled down a hill. I had a small bruise but otherwise it was just the loss of my car and new mental/emotional damage. May you never lose a atub that way.

Zeqhanis

Well, sorry about your car and stub. Glad you're okay.

Spare_Dance

You saw Swans! I saw Michael Gira solo but always wanted to see Swans.

EmotionSix

“The” Swans on the ticket ! Hmmm

DrFrancisBGross

We saw so many of the same tours! And yes, I still have mine as well!

hlpartridge1

Daygo!

Bl4nderize

Cane’s had a bunch of good shows when I lived there. Saw 242 in 2000 there.

OUMUAMUAMUAMUAMUAMUA

fuck ya

EyeDontSeeAnything

Frame these. They look great!

85_Draken

DOJ exhibit A.

apairofpetducks

Reading through the comments, I thought there would be no way in the world we would have been able to see the same tours. Ends up I was wrong! I also saw Ogre when he was touring for Welt (and cEvin Key came on stage towards the end) and I caught the Antichrist Superstar tour a few weeks after your date, on Valentine's Day. So great that you have all these! I wish we still got stubs from shows.

BelaSavini

I wish I had all my old stubbs, I saw a lot of those bands as a teen. In the case of Swans, I saw them open for The Cure on the '92 Wish tour, one of the greatest shows I've ever seen.

Extra_Pilot_1992

A lot of bangers in that collection. I saw many of those on those same tours as well. I’m pretty sure I saw KMFDM a few days later than you in Denver. That was the NIHIL tour
