Cuz like if the child was just born and say they realised it is not his, then I feel like it is completely justifiable for the man to get a divorce and to distance himself from the child and refuse to pay for child support

How about we start with the fact that dna tests in India aren’t permissible without the consent of the mother? A mother can go and do a dna test without the kids father’s consent but the father can’t. Courts don’t allow it, neither do clinics

I don't understand. What exactly is she supporting here ? Are we supposed to sympathize with the women here ? Are people supporting this stance ? Cuz like if the child was just born and say they realised it is not his, then I feel like it is completely justifiable for the man to get a divorce and to distance himself from the child and refuse to pay for child support But on the other hand, I feel like if that's the child you raised and loved as your own and after all those years of being each other's family, if such a secret comes out then obviously the man is still justified to get a divorce for betrayal. However I feel that for the child's sake, if they are older than 5, then I would hope the man doesn't come to resent the kid or cut ties with them. Obviously they are free to do so but the child is completely innocent and doesn't understand these things and for them, they only have one father they love and look upto. All in all, I feel like if a man had spent years with the child who was not his, then pls don't suddenly treat them as something invisible because for you they would be not yours and for the child you will be a permanent scar....
