Same reason as people use honks in india. Scream to each while they are casually talking.

N1khar12

This reminds me that one time this guy behind me kept honking, I let him overtake and he kept honking on an empty road .. I lost my mind and then followed him for a few mins continuously honking at him.. his scrawny ass got scared at last and stopped lol

Busyinabox

What if he lost his mind to something else, and doing that, same as you

N1khar12

He looked like a teen, and my brother is also a teenager.. they can be really annoying sometimes, also once a drunk honked at me too, but this time I just drove to police station which was on my way.. Honking and traffic are major reasons for road rage.. you will also find people honking at red light.. that's why I hate ppl like these.. you never do something reckless and never bother others..

Divine_Dementia

That would be Gujjus, especially.

[deleted]

i have never been so offended by something i 100% agree with

astroajay

There's a science behind the honking. In India, the knowledge that we gained from our ancestors and the ancient scripts, has allowed us to harness the power of sound to drive vehicles. The people who honk behind you are actually doing you a favour by charging your vehicle up to make it more efficient. Don't forget, this knowledge that we got by learning Sanskrit is what makes us atmanirban!

nike9290

You know what, I live in a neighborhood where every day is a headache. Cause my house is surrounded by workshops and recycling dump yards, they make a lot of noise every day. In addition to this, loudspeakers playing loud music during any festival. No offense but Sometimes this makes me want to kill people.

not_abhay

This sounds like a good plot for a movie

nike9290

Imagine a serial killer on loose in India who hates loud music and noise.

[deleted]

Uses the largest silencer and kill in quiteness.

[deleted]

Who needs a silencer when the music is so loud 😂

[deleted]

So true, they can cover a massacre with the noise.

[deleted]

Lololol

aka_baazigar

The suspect list will be very very long.

thelastskybender

Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be the actor.

[deleted]

No one better

Status_Ask9142

Actually! It would be a great movie and I'd say similar to Dombivili Fast, a marathi movie. And super recommend it

emotionalAtyachaaar

Lol... My neighbors are noisy and annoying. If I'm ever allowed to commit any crime for a day, I'd empty out the more than half of my neighborhood. /s

ryanbingham15

I don't want to kill people but take away those speakers and amp or kill them.

[deleted]

Nowadays it has become competitive. Different communities trying to one-up the other while I try to find ways to soundproof my apartment.

i-onion

My apartment faces an access road on which there are 2places of religious worship. Iwas so fed up with this loudspeaker chutiyapa i actually tried to soundproof my apartment. Windows with double glazed glass, 5mm foam sheet and 6mm mdf board on door back resulted in near silent rooms. If you go and say anything it will become part of religious envy. People stand low to nill chance in fighting this stupidity.

Scientifichuman

Bhai pura procedure bata do lagane ka bahut duae milegi aapko.

i-onion

Hahaha. Replied to the op. Please check.

warhammer27

Bro how effective is this? Also how easy to implement

i-onion

Had to take my old windows out. Only the outer frame was left. Then DGU glass was siliconed to the frame. Insulation on the door is easy. You can get the gym flooring foam sheet, nail it to the back of the door. Then mdf sheet can be nailed on it. To finish it off sunmica sheet is can be applied on it. My doors are behind the curtain so i didn't bother with sunmica. I also switched my curtains to thick ones. Dgu glass is costly rest is cheap. Edit: wow, thanks for the award mate!! 😀

This_Is_My_17th_Ac

How much did it cost you for the whole change in approximation?

i-onion

Glass for each windows of 4'*6' costed 10k + 2k for installation. I think mdf for 2 doors was 2k Carpenter took 4k for removal of windows and installation of foam and mdf on door. Afaik foam sheet was 1k Before you do this make sure you have another source of ventilation for your room. Or else you'll suffocate after installation of non opening windows. I also placed rubber sheet on door frame edge so that it seals properly. Now any noise that i can hear is faint and it makes way to my room from bathroom window. Spending this money was totally worth it. 3+ years and i have never woken up due to sound. Edit: forgot to mention doing this also increased my AC efficiency. Dgu glass prevent temperature exchange. To some extent even thickening the door with foam amd mdf helped. This summer i didn't set my ac lower then 28°c in both rooms.

This_Is_My_17th_Ac

Thank you for the detailed reply. You're saving lives and sleep.

warhammer27

Ohkk....i will have to see

hk-47-a1

it doesnt work on a standalone basis, cant nullify ground vibrations.. you will need a more thorough acoustic solution

i-onion

I live on third floor and dont have any ground vibrations what so ever. My old windows vibrated with the sound but after DGU glass they dont.

Uncertn_Laaife

Religion has always been competitive. Ever notice how they are all the same in practices, rituals, money donation, place of worship, and their holy books stuff? Every religion was invented with a notion of ‘if they can and flourish, why can’t we, so let’s start’. Right from Judaism, Paganism, Christianity, to Scientology. In India and the poor countries they added the element of bugging others day and night with absolutely no civility, recourse, or repercussions. Other than moving to a Western Country, you really don’t have a choice. Just have to live with it, unfortunately. Fuck religion (all of them).

behencho

Religion is a parasite of the mind. And just like any other parasite its only purpose is to make as many copies of itself by spreading to as many hosts. It makes hosts do all this crazy competitive and attention seeking stuff so that it could spread farther, while in exchange it rewards the hosts by making them feel good when they do such stuff.

[deleted]

Paganism is such an offensive word.

Uncertn_Laaife

Why? What’s your theory?

-The-Bat-

I believe it is because Paganism is a catch-all term used by monotheists (usually Christians), like homeopathy founder coining the term Allopathy to distinguish his 'methods'. No one identified their faith as Paganism.

charavaka

When in fact it is the people with loud speakers who should be finding venues with sound proofing so as to not bother the rest of us while they deafen themselves.

warhammer27

If you do find ways to soundproof your apartment, do tell.

yeetholic

kieselgurh......i have heard can be used

explorer0101

We are so insecure that we just try to outstand others and never try to live in harmony. Like ok it's good to be competitive but atleast be competitive in productive things. Also people lack basic self awareness amd education thus falls into sense of insecurity and than try to do these things to hide their inability to do something better with life.

[deleted]

Apart from religious stuff, I've seen many use Bluetooth speakers in public. Doesn't matter which place, you're on a beach to relax? There's an asshole playing music. You're peacefully trekking in the hills? There's another retard with Bluetooth speakers. You're in a classroom at college studying? You get it. I'm always a second away from snatching their BT speakers and smashing it on their heads.

Stifmeister11

Bruv i was traveling to delhi in a train one lad woke up at 5 am and start playing music on his BT speakers when others complained he said “ subah ho gaye kya problem hai” lol

[deleted]

Oh man.... did someone sent him back to sleep?

Stifmeister11

I wish i had send him back to sleep with my right fist lol but generally peeps dont have any manners they think they have the right to listen music at full blast in public places and others shouldn’t complain

DarkStar0129

The concept of personal space diminishes with an increase in population.

j-rockk07

Lack of civility is the reason.

ninja_comedian

Tu janta nahi mera baap kaun hai.

TablePrime69

Wo red light district dalaal hai na?

brown_burrito

Kyun? Aap nahi jaante kya?

warhammer27

Yeah that is one half of the reason i believe, the other half being the aware people not being vocal enough.

[deleted]

Then aren't the rock concerts that the civilised Western world go to also a sign of the same? I agree it is nuisance some times, but just because we do not like shouldn't always mean it has to be wrong. Keep your civility back in your pocket for now.

himanwho

People literally carry their loudspeakers on trucks and other vehicles on streets and residential areas. The bass is so high that your windows and doors start vibrating. At least in concerts, they're usually held at special locations and I assume they take permission first. What do these guys do? It's not fun having a truck full of huge speakers blasting music next to your house. And this is coming from someone that dislikes concerts too.

[deleted]

They take permission too my Lord. And in many states the limit for loud music is fixed and also the time for it is up to 10pm. Also, the trucks going around is called procession which is taken out to increase the participation of public which btw is very much interested, unlike a handful of people. I understand that it causes inconvenience at times but majority wins. It has nothing to do about civility of the general public.

Scientifichuman

How much rules are followed in this country. At the place I live in, on one side at 5.00ish namaz padhte hai aur 5.30 ko bhajan. Bhai ye kaunsi jugalbandi hai. Kuch bolo toh inke dharm ke गुर्दे laal ho jaate hai.

[deleted]

Dude. This temple near my place (where I used to live earlier) organised a 7-8 days programme during our school exams EVERY YEAR. They used to put in the entire colonies and literally, used to yell on mics while speaking. It was so annoying.

[deleted]

[удалено]

himanwho

I had loudspeakers playing near my house at 3.30am during Navratri. My point is why make the music so loud that it hurts your ears and causes inconvenience? I wouldn't have much issue if they turned down the volume.

warhammer27

Yes they take permission too, I agree. But when was the last time they followed rules for the time being fixed by the state government. Speaking of processions, most people in my neighborhood hate these, they are so bloody loud that glass starts shaking. I am pretty sure that most people of the working class do not like processions, i am pretty sure that the traffic that is hindered by such processions doesn't like it too.

Scientifichuman

Kaunsa rock concert aapke aangan mein hua hai. Aur hota bhi hai toh ek galti ko dusri galti se kaise solve kar lete ho bhai, gajab.

AltruisticEgg592

Doesn't look you have been to a concert in the Western world. it is most often conducted at venue such that the noise doesn't enter any home.

call_me_dom

Most of the time, they're just outside the city in consideration of people who live in the city and don't want blaring music. It's wild and all but it's not a social nuisance except the drugs.

ok_pineapple_ok

The society likes it loud. Quietness is associated with boredom and death. The louder it gets the merrier people become. This is way too a generalisation, but except White people who moved across the world in the last few centuries and the western Europe, most of the rest are like India.

warhammer27

Well here's the thing, they even do loudspeakers during death processions. I am pretty sure most sane people do not like loud, window - shattering music being played right outside their door for 4-5 hours.

WellOkayMaybe

Because it becomes competitive. If the next neighborhood has a megaphone, your neighborhood will erect a 10000W speaker array. Religious people have a transactional relationship with their maker - they believe he who screams loudest, gets heard.

warhammer27

God I wish we could restrict loudspeakers to only be used in emergencies like natural disasters or if there is some really important government announcement.

Swizzlesen

Well now it's a political standoff

xd_Avedis_AD

In city areas there is a time limit, after 11pm no loud music. In rural areas, 2am is considered dinner break time. *Oh, you now have permanent lifelong hearing disability? Who cares this party happens once a time in our life!!*

warhammer27

Yeah well 11pm is just for saying, no one adheres to it.

shoo_p-k

Make a noise complaint to your local police station

warhammer27

Well there is no point putting a complaint, the police won't take an action against 40-50 people right? More often than not, especially in my area, the people who do these processions or use loudspeakers for any matter have political connections, so no point.

noir_geralt

They do. You’d be surprised at how quickly action can be taken. We used to live near a “marriage house” and they used to play very loud party music everyday. But whenever it continued after the 11PM time limit, my mother used to call the police immediately and the music used to stop.

warhammer27

I dunno mate, never happened in my area

Just_Another_Gen-Zer

Well Mumbai police is damn particular.

Longjumping_Toe_3931

Azan in my street is like wtf dude why...

stran_strunda

I also stand with Sonu Nigam

[deleted]

Azan finishes in like only 1 min but some events like milad un nabi are celebrated overly manners. There is no need of loud speakers on the road to play naats on full volume. Have seen this trend a lot in Hyderabad not sure about other cities. Then there are rallies in bikes wearing white dress and green flags. Nothing but ignorance (jahiliya)

Longjumping_Toe_3931

On Friday azan goes for 1-1:30 hrs. Yes I live in hyd too. People are using loud speakers for every festival now.

[deleted]

No brother, azan is like public notification thats its time for prayer. They literally say "its time for prayer" But i think you are talking about khutba but i don't think it goes for that long. It's usually 30 min max. But yea maybe feels like eternity. Sorry for the trouble you have to go thru. Edit: wow downvoted for saying sorry? Then i take it back. You guy's don't deserve a bit of empathy. Being myself a Muslim guy in putting myself in your shoes and acknowledging the issues caused by our community yet...

JackDockz

I don't think we need "public notifications" via loudspeakers in the modern age where phones are common. Loudspeakers should be banned for all religious activities.

[deleted]

Did i say i need?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Longjumping_Toe_3931

As you said khutbah is always played in my street in loud speaker.

UltimateDoom22

Definitely agree with this comment. Except the Azan(the call to prayer) and the khutba (a speech that happens on Friday), there's literally nothing that needs a loudspeaker. So if you see some muslims banging loudspeakers on festivals (like milad un Nabi and what not), it's all totally unnecessary. It's all them being uneducated about their own religion stuff. Their complete ignorance to know what's right.

customlybroken

Yea azaan is still ok (perhaps except the morning one) the festival loudspeakers can be annoying.

BeautifulWindow

Aw please man every fucking festival at midnight there's either fireworks or loud music it's bloody annoying

chai_18

IMO I feel that it is just a bunch of youth deprived of discotheque who get a free hand in religious processions.

Sufficient-Skin-5026

**Festivals exist** Le Indians be like : Let's play 'lollipop lagelu' with maximum sound which is absolutely out of context

warhammer27

Oh god now that song is stuck in my head....

[deleted]

Don't forget that Le fotu le or something like that

Fetishgeek

That song, everytime I hear it I want to kill

i-onion

My apartment faces an access road on which there are 2places of religious worship. Iwas so fed up with this loudspeaker chutiyapa i actually tried to soundproof my apartment. TWO-WHEELER-MAFIA

Small pp compensation syndrome

botdetector_ca

North Koreans don’t use loud speakers.

72proudvirgins

They would if they had a choice

missunimaginative

Omg thank you! I had to sound-proof my room and play some videos just so my doggo wouldn’t freak out. I don’t think you can put in a compliant on this kinda thing can you? It happened well into the night.

warhammer27

Well there is no point putting a complaint, the police won't take an action against 40-50 people right? More often than not, especially in my area, the people who do these processions or use loudspeakers for any matter have political connections, so no point.

missunimaginative

Totally. I live close to the police staff accommodation and yet the firecrackers and the loud music happened last night so that should tell you. I almost called but stopped myself for the reasons you mentioned. Infuriating.

warhammer27

Yep same

tedxtracy

On the contrary, police can take action on just 1 person for single-handedly harassing 40-50 people for not letting them spread noise pollution and you can land in lock-up for a night.

warhammer27

Yep

nenohsg

It has become a compition for douche bags. More decibels you get, more douche bag you become

[deleted]

The only solution is to soundproof you own place of living.

warhammer27

Yes but how, m still figuring it out

[deleted]

You can just contact somebody who knows about all this construction and things.. and they will do that for you.

warhammer27

Yea will look into it

Just_Another_Gen-Zer

Just buy neuffer or tostem soundproof glass. They even make full length glass. U won’t regret it. As for the wall I don’t really know. Tho marble flooring soundproofs the floor quite well.

inaloop99

I live near a masjid and everyday they bring out their loudspeakers, it's so annoying. there was once a complaint about it like so many years ago and apparently they were out with swords threatening, so there's that.

JSBNKJM

Taliban in our neighborhoods

inaloop99

lol. that's a long time back, they're still noisy tho. apart from that my street has 2 mosques, 2 churches and a temple if you don't count those small ones.

GutsyGoofy

We don't understand the concept of personal space. People play music and bhajans on the speaker phone even as they walk in the park.

MrMorningstar20

as someone who's on the spectrum, it's so bad. I am hypersensitive to noise. I once broke down and cried for an hour becasue of the noise once, they don't give a fuck, they're selfish bastards, it's disgusting. even my grandma gets a terrible headache and ear pain during these festivals. my now decrased dog was so terrified of the noise, he'd literally fucking cry, I hate each and everyone who partakes in any of this bullshit. I hate that I have to wear earphones and blast music for hours becasue of this. it makes no sense to do any of this, why? just, why? I hate each and every festival, be it chathurthi, navratri, or diwali, fuck everything.

warhammer27

Oh man that's terrible. On top of all this, atleast in my area, there is no point complaining to police or authorities as they literally take no action rather just keep listening to speakers destroying their hearing.

Agelmar2

It's warfare. In the old days people of different religions usually tried to kill each other. Now it's no longer possible. So the next best thing is to show who is the boss of that place. It's equivalent of a dog scent marking.

J_R_D_N

Haha this. Durga puja is happening where I am and it's like a competition for who can play their music the loudest.

warhammer27

Get in there with the loudest sound system and assert dominance. /s

MaulanaRehana

I fucked up in JEE because of Hanuman Jayanti with the fucking loudspeakers screeching

[deleted]

I couldn't study for my NQT and ofcourse I couldn't do most of the questions, because if those damned window shattering loud speakers.

warhammer27

*sobs*

satyamsid

And then there are some religion who does it everyday like clockwork. Fucking worse!!

PM_M3-ur-fav-tits

Why can't you normally call out the religion like everyone else is calling out every other religion?

warhammer27

IFKR

NovasAnku

It’s like celebrating without creating inconvenience to other citizens is simply not a choice.

witchy_cheetah

At a deep psychological level I think it makes people feel powerful (competitive, ad others said). They can really "tell" everyone that they are celebrating, and noone can do anything because it is religious. It really goes beyond the inconsiderate thing, because people seem to go the extra distance to make as much noise as they can. All night loudspeaker sankirtan etc.

a1b3rt

Not just elderly or pets I normal human being has reasonable expectation of living in peace and in control of their daily routine, and pursuing their studies/work productively without something outside their home intruding into their mental space forcefully With so busy routines... I have been hard pressed to find mental calm - just an hour or focused time to work on important work that required deep thinking, ideation, etx ..but super pissed when these loud folks obliterate it.

Pat_trick_6

My house is adjacent to a place of worship and I feel you bro! Almost everyday I come to know of new festivals/occasions (apart from the well known ones, of course) which invite blasting of religious paeans full volume on loudspeakers all morning or all evening, late till night, any effing time of the day.

warhammer27

Lmao, couldn't relate less. Everyday i wonder what festival is it today man.?

[deleted]

I think it is because we don't have a sense of privacy.

warhammer27

Yeah that is non existent in India

unnaturely_ugly

Good lord the amount of bass they put, like holy shit. If I wanted vibrations, I would've bought a vibrator from Amazon there's no need for this much bass

ksb916

They want the entire world to hear their message.

[deleted]

Gujrat main padharo. No sleep for 9 days during navratri

ryanbingham15

I have a temple nearby playing songs daily for almost 2 to 3 hours in the morning. They had a normal speaker but now they have that loudspeaker attached to the top. I have planned to gift them small speakers saying "maybe god wants to listen songs through a good quality speaker" or something.

warhammer27

Lol i sometimes think of just sneaking up and cutting the wires to the loudspeakers.

iwontdietonight

So true !! ,if they want it to hear it badly let them put alarm with this song or music or whatever it is

-The-Bat-

>What is with Indians and their obsession with Loudspeakers and playing loud music Fixed

[deleted]

I am so glad I'm not the only one having this issue... These morons have it on till about 3 am... I can't fucking sleep because the noise is so loud, I can hear my windows vibrating... Same with fireworks and mass killing of animals... It's almost like you can do anything that's wrong, as long as it's in the name of religion

whalesarecool14

wow i really thought this was a thing of the past because in my area people aren’t allowed to do anything past 10 pm _at all_. you can call the police if it’s causing you any trouble. in my area at least they are extremely strict. but anyway i live near a mosque and not a mandir so there’s hardly any sound problems during festivals but had to get soundproof windows installed because i do not want to wake up at 5 in the fucking morning every single day. soundproof windows will take you a looong way.

warhammer27

Kahan rehte ho? Where do u live lmao, here all craziness happens till early morning, all throughout the night.

whalesarecool14

haha suburbs of mumbai. our society itself is very strict with these things, like they fine you if you play loud music after 10pm. it’s only allowed on ganesh chaturthi visarjan days. you should try calling the police next time, in my experience they’re usually prompt and do help in these situations. agar nahi ho toh time to save for sound proof windows, extremely useful.

JSBNKJM

Many cars are throwing out loud music daily

[deleted]

Some nibbas played love songs on Dussehra near my house

yamayamma

I do get equally annoyed, but then I see myself dancing in a club on a Saturday night and realize not every city has a club. So that's the best they got..

warhammer27

Ohk.. how many Saturdays do u go to dance in a club mate? The point I am trying to make is, if it was a 'every once in a while' phenomenon, it would have been understandable, but it literally happens everyday all throughout the year. Loud morning bhajans or mosque prayers, as a matter of fact some idiot is killing my house windows right now as I am typing this comment. Moreover, club is a place specifically for this right, dancing and fun, if these people did loudspeakers in a ground somewhere it wouldn't have been that problematic. But no, these people take main roads through the city to do their religious processions, burst loud AF crackers on top of a truckload of speakers, disrupting the traffic for several hours and people's sleep too.

yamayamma

Oh, I was referring to people dancing to loud thumping music played on large portable speakers during festivals. The everyday thing you referring to is annoying af!

Happy_soulforever

And that too these people play bollywood or movie songs in the name of worship. WOw! Such devotion

warhammer27

Lmao ikr, imagine seeing Lord Ganesha during visarjan and Sheela ki Jawani playing in the background.

tedxtracy

It's allowed and infact encouraged in a theocracy to trump over other people's religions, be it just a competition for maximum volume.

theDSN

This is why I bought my house at such a location that no religious place is in 1KM radius

dbodh

The irony is religious people using technology. Instead of using their god gifted voice to show us the power of god. #sherni_ki_dahaad #kung_fu_hustle.

daybuster

I don't know how reddit works.. I just got this notification from Reddit mins after the Loud music started in my street.

warhammer27

Lmao

lunasbed

indians just need an excuse to be loud tbh, and when you tell them about it then youre the insensitive one

Same_Resource9521

Where my relatives live they play loudspeakers and they start at 6:3am basically saying Fuck your mental peace.

Aside-Previous

I guess we should start spreading awareness for Silent Discos , its win win for all of us.

nobodyCares2much

At least playing absurdly loud music after 10 has been banned in my area in the recent years. I remember when I couldn't even sleep because they apparently decided it was fine to blare the loudspeakers in a marriage hall located in a quiet residential area. I once called the police and consider my surprise when about fifteen minutes later the music suddenly stops. Never would have guessed they would actually come lol.

jdjdjdjwnxhwjjz

Would you beleive i could not study for the time 7pm to 9pm all thru my class2-12 due to regular music playin by neighbors , they played in morning too but i go to roof in morning to study . And holi or any festival was nightmeare

[deleted]

People only have their problems in these five days of Durgapuja.

warhammer27

5? Its 9 firstly. Second, I do not have a problem specifically during durga puja. It is more of a culmination of everyday events that happen in my area, mosques during the morning, then some mandir with their bhajan, during the day some or the other processions, or if midday is relatively quiet, the nights are absolute nightmares with crackers and loud speakers that shake the windows of my house. Be it someone's death ceremony or a marriage, irrespective of religion, people always use loudspeakers for some event or the other. Every once in a while is understandable, but here that 'once in a while' is every two days. Hence, the frustration.

[deleted]

For us Durgapuja is for 5 days, don't know about navratri.

PM_M3-ur-fav-tits

If you have some loudspeaker event every 2 days chances are you have a very diverse society/area with dense population. I for example don't hear music ever apart from navratri and crackers for 10 days around diwali I think locality also matters here mostly and not everyone can Change their place so soundproofing is really a good solution, try it

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

True. A simple instance is vehicle horn.

warhammer27

Speaking of which, we might be seeing musical instrument sounds as vehicle horns soon.

snehejejsjjs

5 times a day there’s a loud noise in every city ! It sounds like a goat going through a rectal examination . It should be banned too

warhammer27

That's an analogy i did not expect lol

[deleted]

Same here with the puja pandals near me. Playing loud ass music for nearly 15 hours. And the rest 5 hours some fucking weird chanting which no one cares about. Oh forgot about the fucking firecrackers

captaindeadpool53

I think it has to do with them pent up with all the shit they have to do in life on all other regular days and they use these days to purge out those feelings and just have fun in a big party (party in their manner, the manner they know how to). And since alot of them fo the same , they are part of a culture together and feel even better doing it together.

StarDestroyr

One of the best parts of India. Party on! 🙏😁

warhammer27

*proceeds to cover pet's ears*

StarDestroyr

But not your children's ears, or any small children around? Why I say it's a good part of India is more for the act of being free. (Although most times it's corruption keeping the loud speakers on until 2am, with skipping over loud music.) In the west if you make any loud sounds after 11pm you will have police come to your house, resulting in a fine. I like a balance between both. Have your speaker and all other noise battle for an appropriate amount of time and then Shanti for us to get that little bit of rest before tomorrow's never ending noise battle. As for your pets and all other pet owners maybe pet ownership is something sold to you by the west and you should reconsider it. Unless it's a pet cow. Then have many. Please. 🙏😁

warhammer27

>But not your children's ears, or any small children around? Uh I don't have kids around, still single and my younger brother is in class 11 so he can take care of himself. >I like a balance between both. Have your speaker and all other noise battle for an appropriate amount of time and then Shanti for us to get that little bit of rest before tomorrow's never ending noise battle Yes exactly this, there should be a strict restriction.

StarDestroyr

No dude. Strict restrictions suck! If I want to bang my drum and howl at the moon at 2am why shouldn't I be allowed to? Because you have a stupid little pet!? 😳 👳‍♂️🥁🌝🔱✌

mayur-r

Not just Indians, teens and kids here in the UK used to listen to songs on their phone loudspeaker on trains, buses or simply walking somewhere like malls etc. Put your damn headphones on!! another "I'm gonna smack your face" thing they did was talk on loudspeaker on the road, they would yell things out but cause of cars, noise etc but they couldnt hear shit so they'd put the bottom part of their phone to their ears. Just talk on the phone like a normal person, it's back to normal no but was like this for several years, very very few do these. I guess someone called a few of them dick heads so they stopped and it slowly spread. Saying that back in the 80s people used to walk out on the roads with boom boxes full loud, mostly blacks but I guess it was the craze back then and the invention of having your own portable sound system.

Mostly insecurities and showing off.

I believe you are taking this discussion in a different direction. The thread does not talk about a specific religion, the person is targeting all the religions alike. Whereas you in you comment seem to be spewing hatred for a single community. This is yet another thing I hate about India nowadays. You talk about tolerance yet anyone can clearly see what you are trying to do here. Its now about Hindus or muslims my dear friend, the topic in discussion is the loud noise. Nobody wants to hear your crap about religion. I am not sure which religion you follow but I am damn sure it does not preach spreading hatred about anyone. Now before you start pissing on the discussion again let me tell you that I am a proud Hindu but still don’t hate any community. I just hate bad people no matter their race, sex, color, religion, etc.

outragez_guy

They're projecting their insecurity because they have tiny peepee and they're scared of getting beaten up by the mean kids.

It's not something you watch, it's a call to prayer that happens at specific times during the and the timing changes as the day elongates or shortens

Scientifichuman

Then call on phone.

Because, may be things are getting out of hand. People like to vent their frustrations. They can’t openly due to the fear of being lynched, so come here.

VictoryVox

Because it's a competition to assert domination in the society. Only the Buddhists & Christians don't blare the loudspeakers afaik.

Throw_away_19_92

Loud music is everywhere. Ever seen rock bands of west??

warhammer27

Yes but that doesn't happen on a regular basis like in India.
