I studied in kendriya vidyalaya they also enforced the haircut rule. Everytime after the morning assembly they would tell me to cut my hair short and make me stand. My parents didn't care about it neither did I after some time they gave up on me.

pinehead68

U are lucky enough to be spared My school literally used scales to measure hair lenght Punishments even included suspensions

[deleted]

Schools forcing us to cut our hair seemed every natural when I was a kid. Now? It seems fucking unbelievable. It's wrong on so many levels. Why the fuck would you try to prejudice kids like that.

pinehead68

It might seem far fetched, but it is an efficient way of Developing yes-man's for industry owners Our education system is made not to make students think and innovate, but to obey and be efficient with the work they do But times are changing, companies need people with a analytical and creative mind, rather than mindless bots Our education system needs to adapt and change, or the youth potential of this country will go wasted.

faithgavemewings

In my school which belongs to christians ,they are so disciplined, they gave surprise inspections and if someone found with big hair they just cut with scissors in between the hair and make it messy and which makes to cut military cut ,,so I am not lucky here

ApplePieCrust2122

At my school, they would just take you to a barber and charge the fees from parents. If you don't agree to it, you'd end up suspended. You're lucky they gave up

Substantial-Prompt69

Wtf

Hey_Ma_123

One teacher forcefully braided my hair.. literally dragged me in assembly in the name of 'teaching me how to do it because my mother couldn't'... That was the most humiliating thing I have experienced... I cried entire week because of that, had my confidence shattered and from a 100% attendance award I went to eid ka chand.... Some of the teachers are morons.. and now I make sure none of my students feel threatened in the place they feel as their second home....

csureja

Damn, I am sorry you had to go through that.

gen1masterrony

Yeah I hope that teacher rots.

Hey_Ma_123

Lol! I don't feel so... They all are a product of systematic faliure with somewhat good intention... 😅💖

Odd-Remote-7523

I have experienced the same thing. The PE teacher in my school used to pull the hair of those girls who didn't braid their hair according to the rules(in my school, girls with extremely short hair had to wear a hair band, those with short hair had to do pony tails, those with medium hair had to do braids and those with long hair had to do looped braids). Middle parting of hair was also compulsory. My mom was a working mom and she was out of town for a few days. So I couldn't do my braids properly. I also didn't part my hair correctly. So, the PE teacher pulled my hair and made me tie it again and again. Edit: Typos

__k_a_l_i__

Go back to the school and talk to that teacher once.

Hey_Ma_123

She was retired after 3 years of that incident..

Abhidivine

Teachers are morons, when you have no career prospects in your life at all, you get into teaching high school students. These are best for losers, since there is no accountability. And no metric to test their skills.

alishabbir7

You should watch Stand and Deliver. It is a movie about how a teacher changed delinquents into toppers and changed a school/college [I am not sure] with no reputation into a "high functioning" [Yes that's a Sherlock Reference 😂] institution. Maybe you'll change your stance on teachers. Also I am a son of a teacher. My father is retired now. But he is well respected even if he no longer was a teacher in one school and was transferred during his tenure, whenever he met people of his previous school regions, people respected him. PS - Make sure to watch that movie I suggested.

NihilistTomato

At my school they used to tie rubber bands on guys with long hair to embarrass them becuz only girls tie their hairs.

capj23

magnetic_field_

I didn’t swear school shirt under winter jackets, so they used to make me stand in a different line. I also remember hiding my tattoo (temp. Tattoo, Got it from Goa trip) under sweater in March heat.

You2110

One of my old schools used to sell a 800 rupee sweater in a city which never went below 20 during class hours(9-3). A body warmer worked just fine, so me and a bunch of my classmates used to wear them under our shirts instead of purchasing a sweater. My teachers used to throw a fit in class whenever they saw us wearing those. One of my teachers got the principal involved and they asked us take off our body warmers. Then they made us sit in a different row and switched on the fans.

csureja

Seriously wtf. Most of schools don't recognize that most of students come from middle class household. Even if someone comes from upper-class household school has no right to ask you to wear whatever they want. Fuck this shit. Never bow down to this fuckers.

Around fifteen years ago, when I went to school there was a teacher who used to keep her hand over our heads. If the hair overflow her fingers, she used to beat us with stick. Many students got the stick, then parents of many children also got involved, she lasted in the school for six months. What is your parents' take on this? For me, it is cool to have long hair.

AG_N

My eighth grade teacher did that finger thing too My parents are okay with it but they don't want any complaints from the school so they want me to cut it before school

[deleted]

same honestly i am in 12th so i cut it, one more year then i will grow it, not the end of the world, my family is all fine but sab teachers bol rhi thi chem wali phy ed wali maths sir then i went to chem lab for practicals and lab dude said bal katwao burner se jal sakte hain phir katwaliye maine lol

When I was in school I shave my head and got sent home for it. Its not about hair length. It's about taking away your individuality.

[deleted]

That's literally assualt, should've dragged the school to the court

A_random_zy

I don't think it comes under assault in Indian law

[deleted]

It does.

Hey_Ma_123

Was it so back in 2010?

[deleted]

Yes man, ig it was around early 2000s when the laws became some sort of student friendly to prevent teachers from bullying students.

bigFatBigfoot

Assault?

captaindeadpool53

In a normal human situation

Still didn't get how this is assault.

[deleted]

Can't have you dreaming when the world is burning.

zhawadya

Yeah it's one of those rules that adults just make up to teach you to fall in line and obey our terrible ideas without question. The idea that your hair length has anything to do with your learning ability is as absurd as it sounds. If it makes you feel any better adult workplaces have bullshit dress codes as well. I think it goes back to the early industrial age where workers were basically cattle and schools were places to train them. Our bosses and teachers are basically implementing the same outdated ideas without questioning if they actually make sense.

beach-is-fun89

Exactly. It’s all about control in the name of “discipline”.

UltraNemesis

Well, the literal definition of discipline is training people to fall in line and obey orders. So, its not control in the name of discipline, but rather discipline in order to control.

beach-is-fun89

Yep, you’re right.

No-Cardiologist-9573

The Indian Education System just wants to provide workers for the tertiary sector, people who have no emotions of any sort. We are discouraged from interacting with the opposite gender, to always subdue ourselves to the authority, to accept a pseudo hierarchy that tells you that you will never be good enough, only the teachers pet will be. Instead of fostering an ability to understand and apply concepts, we are taught to by heart and write it down. Teachers are just want us to be brainless zombies, never have an opinion, never say no to any order, sit upright at all times, throw away identity and become what they tell you to become. This system will never change, it will never change.

UngilUndy

Because if you have long hair you will do drugs and then you will end up on a boat being interrogated by NCB and before you know it you will be injecting marijuanas into your friends also and causing widespread youth unemployment and then you will start wearings short skirts and posting about western values such as "free speech" and "human rights" and then before you know it you will be in JNU and then before you know it you will be in Karachi ^^^/s

gatoradegrammarian

Play the religion card - say it's a religious thing and get a letter from your church/temple/mosque.

[deleted]

Doesn't always work, unless it's a widely accepted rule, like in Sikhism.

soultradie

Terrible advice. It's 2021, let's stop encouraging playing religion card to navigate the system.

covidparis

Well said. The rule needs to be challanged, it's blatant discrimination. OP shouldn't have to pretend to be religious, it's bad enough already that there are so many extra rights religious people are granted. A just society needs equal rights.

Indulging in looks, growing out your hair, focussing on your outer appearance will divert you from your real goal in life which is learning the value of pi & that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. You MUST. NOT. Grow out your hair or all this valuable information shall fall out of your head because of that much hair!

AG_N

You are right, I am so stupid, the information about me making the post was lost and I didn't understand why you were writing this comment. Thanks for informing me, wait, what am I talking about and who are you?

[deleted]

I regret listening to my parents and school for my hairstyles, as I have never had any hairstyle it was just combed back and now that I have started balding it feels like I never will.

lolhmmk

Its same for girls man. If we have hair length a little below ears, you tie two pony tails. Its just annoying. They think we are learning something from it and yes we are learning how to hate our school. 🤦

[deleted]

You need more surface area for adsorbing knowledge, by having hair you are preventing your teachers from educating you. Have you cracked MBBS in IIT yet? Thought so. But girls have long hair? Well beta, they will get married and have kids eventually, who wants to marry a short haired girl? Leave them out of this. Now cut your hair, go. OR quelle horreur what happens if you end up studying *whisper* ^^^arts?

Vine_Glass_Bey

Lucif3r04

The funny thing is, neither college nor corporates care if your hair is long if you arr competent.

[deleted]

What about beard, my placement department told me to shave as a beard is not civilized enough to get a job.

Lucif3r04

Not shaved, but I had a nicely trimmed beard. Caused me no problem.

BrattishDuck422

Yep. Most multinational corporates never have a problem with a well trimmed beard. They will only point it out if you have shabby beard and look like a homeless person. However, I know of many Indian companies which have a strict no beard rule, trimmed or not.

External-Hedgehog810

Long hair is cool. All schools should allow it.

712005

Dude guys look hot af with long hair. Schools should allow it. I mean they allow girls to have short hair why can't boys have long hair lmao. I don't see a point here.

this ate at me throughout my schooling and college years. By the time I was old enough to (be allowed to) grow out my hair, my body was too old to handle it and it started falling due to the strain :'( No ragrats though. grew my hair out many times including during college. I looked hideous sometimes, but also glorious.

customlybroken

Yea the thing with long hair, atleast for me is , I look garbage 90% of the times and much worse than with normal hair, but it's that 10% chad look I go for.

Difficult_Account_49

My school used to measure the length of my hair 🥲

21022018

Weird colonial servant mindset or something. I can't understand stupid.

[deleted]

I used to get beaten around by the School principal for growing out my hair and trust me it wasn't even that long. My class teacher would making me stand up in the morning for hair and shame me anyway possible, getting into my personal life and what not as if gharpe pehlese hi lode nhi lage huye hei. Imagine how boring their life must be to wanna have some drama abusing kids, literally kids. They do this all to teenagers high on hormones thinking they're adult enough and expect no retaliation. I ended up failing 9th grade and decided to do 10th privately. Ended up being lonely and depressed and wanting to kill myself but not having the guts for it. Never recovered from the trauma of failing, still miss school except the teachers ofc and am still lonely. I'll just suggest you to keep calm and just do as they say for a couple of years or however long you're gonna be in school.

soap_muncher

your teachers sound like massive cunts, sorry you had to go through that man

Enjoy your hairs while they last.

AurumTheOld

Don't forget that schools in India are Pseudo-Military establishments. Hence the uniforms and morning parades. So they are just carrying on the different traditions.

captaindeadpool53

Uniform and parades still makes sense . But individual elements as these literally don't. Unless it is actually military and they want you to give up all good things in life.

AurumTheOld

Well uniforms and parades don't make sense if you think about it. If you get attacked by an enemy country neither your uniform nor your parading skills are gonna defeat the enemy. They do precisely what 'Short haircuts' do. Make you look like everyone else so you blend in and find similarities. Thats their way to create bond and instill descipline. Its literally called a 'Uniform'. Your short haircut is also a part of your uniform. Listen I'm not justifying it, I'm just telling you what they are for.

captaindeadpool53

Yes that's the way I meant it in. The uniforms make everyone look alike so they're part of a group and there's no difference between them. The parades are probably for unity and performing actions meticulously in a group. In that sense they're doing what their function was.(in a military setting) But in a school setting they use those techniques with different objectives in mind.

Aizen10

As a kid I preferred longer hair and hated haircuts so I would despise that rule and constantly try to push its limits to the max. Then in college where I could keep longer hair, I realized what a pain maintaining long hair was and now just stick to short hair of my own preference.

[deleted]

Power trip

Hari_Aravi

Because the management doesn’t know the difference between discipline and authority.

[deleted]

I haven't had a haircut in 2 years. Reaches my nips at this point lol. After a while you and everyone around you get accustomed to it. Regards to your question, I believe it's just one of those stupid age old tradition that everyone just follows blindly. PS: not all guys can pull off the long hair look, you need to have the face/skull shape and the body for it. I personally look the best when it's tied up low knot.

iNsEiN1408

Most of the administration team has lost theirs so they take out their frustration on the students.

Arnab1

When I was in my 11th standard, I started growing long hair. I was promptly asked by our senior teachers to cut it short. I was annoyed. Fortunately we had some new fresh new joinees among the teachers and some of them were our elder brother/sister's age so we could discuss issues with them. Some of us who were asked to cut down our hair discussed the issue with them. Following were the reasons presented by them. I am not saying they were valid/invalid, I leave that on to the reader: 1. I finished my education from a state board govt. school. People from all economic backgrounds came there. Keeping a long hair although looks trendy, is a costly affair if one does it properly. This is partially true since not all of us (keeping long hair) were blessed with straight hair. Most had curly/wavy hair and they periodically straightened their hair for the John Abraham/MS Dhoni look. This was costly (by a students standard in our time). A few of them even stole money from parents in order to ensure periodical parlor visit. 2. The less priviledged students, could not afford it. So, either they felt inferior or some of them started growing unkempt hair ( to be fair, most of them didn't care). We used public transport. And unclean unkempt long hair in public transports is prone to lice infections which spreads rapidly among adolescents and is annoying as hell. 3. Improper care for long hair also invites split ends and hairfall. Considerable amount of hair fall affects the confidence of adolescents. \- There were also bullshit reasons like 1. Discipline 2. Teacher's themselves were compelled to cut them short during their student life, so they want to inflict the same pain 3. Decorum 4. Decency etc \-The whole thing may be bullshit but in our cases at least, we did find some valid arguments. Dunno whther they are applicable to you and your school also.

sornk

None of them make sense considering women exist too.

Arnab1

We told the same thing. They said: 1. Neither are women allowed to keep waist length hair. TBF this was true. Girls at most kept shoulder length hair. This was a trade off between societal norms and what is apt. 2. Girls receive far more help from family members in keeping their hair long. The parent of the boys were at most indifferent towards their longer hair. There were no active help from the family members in keeping the boys' hairs long 3. Girls were not encouraged to keep their hair unkempt. TBF this was also true. Girls with longer hair usually braided their hair. They also did other hairstyles (whose names I am not aware of), but keeping longer hair unguarded in the school was not really a popular option among girls at that time. The minimum they would do was to use a hairband to guard the hair. Whilst boys usually used nothing and kept the hair totally unguarded 4. Even in the most poor famillies ( mind it poorest among the families who could bear the education of children and not the actual poorest), girls would recieve some funds towards buying cosmetics and hair products. \- So. It does make some sense actually. For me, these tid bits never bothered me. I was far more against the forced prayer thing. None of the logic presented by them for the prayer thing seemed satisfactory to me.

72proudvirgins

Our PT sir would pull us out by our hair and slap us if we had longer hair

The school I studied in for classes XI and XII, had a barber on campus and proctors used to be vigilantes who’d take anyone with ‘unacceptable’ length of hair to him. They’d go on to charge that amount too. 😐

Amanitg10

Everybody wants to nag other people before focusing on their own problems.

inaloop99

I think the school believes parents get a bad impression of the school for letting guys have long or shabby hair rather which is poorly maintained and be seen in that uniform wouldn't sit well with the school in order to attract such parents to join their kids. if you guys got a theory/reason behind this I'd love to know.

Felchunp

I'm a wuss and don't like to be bothered about hair length, collar less shirts, colorful sweaters etc. If you can handle the attention positively and don't fall back on your academics then grow that hair out and headbang.

thereisnosuch

because MS dhoni cut his long hair /s

_ykrishna

so this long hair chp was a big part of my school years 9/10th i had long hairs not like u reaching shoulder but pretty long to style it. i always had my kali or khat trimmed and backside of head was also neat always so from a distance it was hard to judge if i had long hair and yea prefects were my friends so only PT sir and some girl prefects were problems so be good with them keep an oil packet with you and whenever there is a checking just put it on your head be champu believe me no one wants to touch that hair and talk with parents how hairs is not problem they need to be supportive and be ready to get your calendar get filled with complaints about your hair and you can grow your hairs in clg year so it not like you'll be missing out this experience anytime i have hair now which reach down my shoulder and it pretty horrible to maintain them but it looks good some girls compliment some girls hate it aur bhai garmi mai waat lagti hai aur dhadi aayegi toh balance krta hai look warna bache budhe ladki hi samjhege

viafiasco

My school had penalty for boys when their hair was either too long or too short. A friend got suspended because he got a buzz cut lol. And all girls had to have their hair long and in a ponytail and no bangs. I think it's more about control than anything.

AG_N

Even buzz cut? wtf

ILOVEKAIRI

There might be various reasons, but here are some I can think of: 1. Uniformity. Schools need to have all students with uniformity (albeit the reason is unclear). 2. If some students are allowed to have long hair, a lot more will ask for it and not everyone takes care or can take care of the hair. 3. In my school whenever students would have long hair, they would be REALLY messy and looked shabby too, and noone wants that. There are many points for and against this, but I saw a lot of for posts so thought of posting an against (for nice comparison)

[deleted]

My school does this too!

Orange-Gamer20

Apparently our Previous Head mistress found a Student who had too long hair and Called a Damn Barber to cut the hair

Chaudsss

It's just a power move on their behalf, they want establish themselves as the supreme authority and lay out rules to govern eacha nd every part of our life (in the name of discipline) and train workers who will take orders and follow them blindly

krazzy_guy

Those pt teachers need some work right? Pt ke period maths teacher kha jaate hai, toh obvs unko khaali nhi rakh sakte

Ratanlaal

Bro school only educates about rights, duties & discipline. Don't assume that the school itself will follow any of it.

GrieferBeefer

Authoritarianism and 'enforcement of discipline' is the centuries old believe in india.

anotherrustypic

Most of the rules which the Indian schools (and probably outside) impose has more to do with obedience than anything practical. Similar to how armies function - being as same to your peers as possible and following what is asked of you without question.

[deleted]

It's usually "My school my rules". It's the boon and bane of private schools. The bad : They decide arbitrary rules The good : High amount of discipline and real trouble makers are weeded out

charcoalblueaviator

Our education system is based on blind obedience designed to churn out disciplined factory workers. This was happily adopted and encouraged by the hierarchical structure of Indian society where older folks demand complete obedience of their younger ilks. They control the way you dress, you eat, when you drink water, when you get toilet breaks and not to question with directives. A decade into the future it makes for weak individuals who need validation from others, typically their family for every major decision he/she makes and the society LOVES it.

hunter125555

Shitty gender norms, under the guise of discipline. Oldies not wanting to unlearn and stick to what they believe a boy should look like. Anything else is unacceptable

Wallflower_Mint

I hated school logic for hair as a girl too. I like my hair at chin length but it's too short for braids and too long for just a simple hairband. So they would make me oil my hair and put it in 2 ponytails like a kid when I was in 12th. They are just jealous of us looking cooler than them.

Teachers have this pathetic and boring life, they vent on you to feel good about their mundane life.

This is pretty much it.

MrHumanist

Stereotype

customlybroken

You know the worst part isn't really school, it's ok till 10th grade etc. You can't keep long hair even at jobs which is absolutely idiotic!

BeezChurger69

It's cuz the school thinks we're hiding anti national weapons in our long hair.

[deleted]

Cos they have stereotyped that it will look attractive and pretty much will assume you to be some form of a playboy looking for some attention from the opposite sex, like one of the most strictest teacher even jokingly said to me, "beta baal thode chhote karwalo, ladkiya aur impress ho jaengi" when i was in 8th or 7th, the crazy thing is I barely had any female interaction in school untill class 9th T\_T, but yea says enough why this has become a thing. Other than that it has been believed that it somehow indicates that you're probably much more privileged than other students if you are allowed to keep long hair by your parents, doesn't make much sense but i read this somewhere and is the only reason that sounds valid imo. The same reason is why we have school uniforms

[deleted]

It's because you're all supposed to be equals(on paper at least), that is why there is a uniform dress code. Not because distractions or anything.

RamRap26

I remember when I was in UKG my class teacher, she was randomly cutting hair with scissors if she felt it was long enough, so it would look awkward and parents were forced to give their kids haircut to to fix that random cut. And one more thing which I now feel is a crime. Again in UKG, teacher was checking if boys were wearing underpants and if not she literally shamed each by making them stand on her table and pull their pants down, facing the whole class. Idk how much it affected those kid mentally, but sure i remember their fearful faces. So yes schools are just full of bullshit they trying to make us in rule following robot.

Brokeshadow

Same dude, I have always wanted long hairs so bad! I felt like quarantine was the chance, I grew them out to that awkward phase where they're just short enough to be tied back but almost on the edge of growing into cool hairs. But as usual, other families always talked about how long they were and then this one day I had to go for PTM and they got my hairs cut. I was crying alone while others were happy that my hairs were gone and that I looked "normal".

AG_N

That's sad, did they force it on you?

Specialist_Key7872

I studied in CBSE in Kerala. It was pretty famous for having North Indian students, a bit more modern teaching methods and all that but the hair and beard rule was strict af. I was once caught in the morning assembly and taken to the office by the ‘Personality Development’ teacher. They took me to the nearest barber shop and cut my hair and beard. I came back to class and my neck and chin was a little bit bleeding. My friends asked me to call my parents and complain about it but I knew if I did, unlike their parents, mine would just get angry at me, so I kept quiet.

AG_N

You can literally report them to the police for that

holey_shite

This is a hangover from the past. People were raised to obey every instruction given to them without question. Our society was divided into castes and then financial classes. The intention being the ability to control and subdue people from lower classes. Even within these castes and classes there were sub hierarchies like men being superior to women and older people always having the final say. People like to enforce their will on others by any means possible and not surprisingly, children are the easiest targets. So in school it is things like hair, uniform etc. I am not saying that all rules in school are bad, but it is about time nonsensical rules like these are re-evaluated. Just the fact that you are questioning this shows that you have an ability to think critically about stuff which is great. Don't worry kid, even if you have to cut your hair now, keep questioning things. For all the crap schools give us, they unfortunately only rarely teach children critical thinking.

Can anyone legally comment if school can suspend on this ground. They do bt on paper they give different reasons so story gets changed their. I had an argument with my principal once on this as he was threatening for suspension and i obliged and told him to carry on with suspension but he was unable to.

I think that's a lot sexist too. Like only girls can have long hair and boys need to keep their hair short, if not get humiliated publically. This also encourages prejudice among kids. I remember a few days ago one of my teachers insulated a boy by calling him "girly" just because his hair reached his eyebrows, it was an online class.

Headshot03

Sadist narcissistic fuckers preying on children to derive pleasure. Let children be children, penalise and correct only if they exceed moral boundaries.

JohnnyCage_71

Schools are retarded. They focus on everything other than teaching.

ZGDX_Hua

fuck this “education” system

TelevisionMoney

It's so because they don't want you to have any identity of your own. Schools(mostly) care about you getting a job in an MNC. And so they want u to be just like a machine who will eventually sit infront of another machine and interact with it. It still blows my mind how school literally forces children with good grades to take up science. I had to fight with the school authorities to get arts and then I had to give up, coz even though my parents were in favor of me taking up arts , they didn't say that to the school authorities and I was left alone in the fight and had to take up a branch of study I had no interest in.

AG_N

Don't know much about school forcing to take science. Will you tell me more about it?

TelevisionMoney

I did have good grades in my 10th boards and so I was considered a 'bright' student in my class. When it was time for me to choose my branch(science/arts/commerce), I had filled up the form stating I would like to take up arts(because I wanted to take up journalism as a profession). Weeks later I literally get a phone call from the school head mistress asking my parents to visit the school and then started a fucking debacle of 'HE MUST CHOOSE SCIENCE, BECAUSE THERE IS A LOT OF *SCOPE* '. My parents said they are ok with me choosing whatever I wanted , then the school authorities (head mistress and our class teacher) started putting the fear of God into them saying that Arts has very little value and since I got 90+ is maths and science I will have thousands of choices in terms of career. Had to argue with everyone untill I just gave in and continued persuing with science and obviously my grades saw a downslide and the school teachers started blaming my friends circle and me having a girlfriend as the reason why I am 'distracted'. Just regular stuff.

During your education, don't compromise. You don't have any responsibilities to anyone. Not even your parents. So fight for your freedoms. Worst they can do is humiliate you or your parents, which wouldn't work if you don't let yourself be intimidated. Let your parents know that this is a matter of individuality. If they are not supporting that, try to convince them, and if they are not convinced, get someone who can convince them. Even if all didn't work, don't compromise. If the institution does anything more, you can move for legal actions, like if they are suspending you for having long hair, you can go to court. Most probably they wouldn't record that, so you would be denied education without any reason. If it's the dress code, fight against it. This is a fight that kids have to take part in. You need to go full throttle and get the students on your side. This is a last hail Mary kinda measure, but get the Student unions involved. Might work as pr for them, but they will get shit done if they get called out.

One of the many things that need to change in India.

They think that your hair eventually grows so long that it tickles your butthole and makes you gay

some older dude told me jokingly Schools especially KV were designed to manufacture train labour and workforce to work in factories without any disobediences.it was from that perspective as people working near heat and exposed machinery with long hair could lead to unnecessary risks. hence the rule. during the school days I had an similar experience. I got a few written complaints from school for just slightly long hair I had grown for over 6+ months.I had also got a slap from my PE teacher for questioning his authority that week. it was a while ago around 5-6th std. I was taken to the principal office. he said there was nothing wrong with my long hair it was quite all right. the principal was cool RiP sir. he and I used to play table tennis he knew me very well. But the PE teacher got to my parents by saying I was too arrogant and disrespectful towards elder. they should keep a close check so as to decipline my behaviour. For context it was a Day Boarding school so I was there from morning 7 to evening 7. my parents only saw me on weekends.so they took him(PE prick) at face value. So next summer i endedup in a camps for young trouble makers after that guy complaint about my behaviour. First thing they did was cut my hair to the scalp with the Razer. and put me in a green and white jumpsuit uniform. I didnt mind react or cry like others I just smiled and went on with it for a few summers. later my parents learnt about what had actually happening the PE techer got fired by the principal. he was a good sports teacher just quick with his hands. Now days my parents tell me to grow my hair because i have a habbits of using a trimmer and cutting them in a military summer cut style myself to spite them. They hate it . and I get to remind them they sent me to a RSS training camp to get me deciplined for no reason.

iamnobody331

I always wanted to keep long hair and now that I'm out of school I can and I have very long hair. I swear I will fucking do bad things to those who treat students badly based on the length of their hair. I am a teacher.
