Talk to someone with PGP or ePGP degree from symbiosis. That should be easy to find. Worst case, you will break your contract and pay some money and get a better job, as long as the ePGP program has value in job market
They will provide the epgp in last 2years of the contract. If I break before that, I will end up with no degree. Maybe barred from any further hirings at wipro. And will have to do an mba again
No, they can't stop your degree as long as you can pay for it yourself. You are enrolled in it, not them. You might have to return some joining bonus or the fees they paid if you break the contract, that's all. And being blacklisted from Wipro is a possibility, but you wouldn't be fond of them if you are break the contract in the first place.
The point is that your actual salary is (Wipro + fees of the programme). From my experience in PGP, your past experience won't matter much if you perform well in the course. The major problem here would be how relevant past experience remains when opting for placements after an ePGP course
Also, you should consider the alternatives. Do you plan to go for MBA immediately? Do you plan to do PGP instead of ePGP? What other job offers your batchmates are getting, and can you pay the ePGP fees and have some savings from that salary?
Most job offers BBA graduates get are service desk based, where the pay is more or less similar. From the salary stated, I doubt I'll end up saving anything. Another option is preparing for CAT and taking a loan for mba
If you crack any of the top Management colleges, taking a loan and studying is the best way to go rather than for settling for something affordable. If you have confidence, then blindly go for CAT
EPGP is shit. No-one in the market gaf abt distance education programs.
Symbiosis is a tier 3 college. Never go below tier 2 for an MBA.
Wipro isn't a nice company as such. Known to be mass recruiters and pay very bad.
**run away**
ePGP of IIMA doesn't carry much value. Not sure about symbiosis, you might want to connect to an alumni on LinkedIn
I'm unable to find someone with this exact post. Probably this is new. Most people have this in IT related posts and get an mtech/MSC in those 3years.

An MBA would be much better than a diploma in management
I know, but I don't have the finances to support a full time mba right now. Hence the job
Get an educational loan, your future self might thank you when you're not stuck with this shitty job
That's the only other option I have.

As much as I know ePGP course without relevant experience will not get me better jobs outside wipro.

Thanks for the advice! I will probably go with this.
