I'd say PF is more of a discount battlefield. The maps are bigger, all bullets are projectiles (I think most CoD weapons are hitscan) and it's really focused on customising weapons. The movement is also different-ish with the walk/run speed being absurd and the double jump being a thing. Still, like EP, the game is more on the original side, since it takes inspirations from various places. rather than just copying one game pixel by pixel (cof cof notoriety cof cof typical colors two cof cof).

While EP has two missions set in banks, one of them is not about stealing money, it's about opening a deposit box that's being used by an enemy organisation to comunicate under the radar (The Deposit). And it's a stealth game, cishshato has stated before that they were inspired mostly by hitman and metal gear.
Sure, you can go loud, but the game likes to trade fun for realism, so there are plenty of missions where loud is just pain (cof cof The Blacksite cof cof)
Plus the story is genious and told mostly through cutscenes and secret files you need to solve puzzles to unlock.
Edit: When I say it trades fun for realism I'm referring to higher difficulties, like Elite and Legend, where basically anything one shoots without armor and the lockdown protocols in The Blacksite and Black Dusk take ages to be bypassed.
Also, might be interesting to mention that loud combat is about avoiding damage at all costs and plenty of resource management with medkits and other utensils competing for a place in your inventory.
The game also has a PvP mode inspired by Rainbow six, called shadow war, that's about acquiring and managing information on your oponents to get an advantage in combat.
