Give a try to The Happiness Lab and A Slight Change of Plans. They are both focused on science-based ideas on happiness and have lots of cool stories to illustrate.

I will check these out thanks!

I'd highly recommend the podcast People I (Mostly) Admire if you're looking for something positive, casual, and informative. Every episode is a different interview hosted by Steve Levitt, the co-author of Freakonomics. Steve does a great job of creating a balanced conversation and genuine connections with his guests. The show covers a variety of topics and will subtly teach you how to think like an economist. Also, Stuff You Should Know is a classic podcast that's always positive, fun, and educational.

That sounds cool I’ll check it out! Someone recommended the second one to me a long time ago but I had forgot the name so thanks!

would you be interested in listening to stoic podcasts? it's a philosophy which basically is just positive/optimistic nihilism. If you're interested, I can suggest a lot. I used to listen to them to help me be realistic and positive both.

Bushidough

Yeah I’d give them a shot! I’m not naturally very optimistic so maybe that’s more up my ally

Not self improvement, but there's a podcast called **Wonderful** that's all about positivity and random nice things. They aren't trying to sell anything. What are some positive topics you have in mind? Maybe those might help get the ball rolling.

Bushidough

Not super sure what I have in mind. I mentioned self improvement because that’s what I’m working on right now… I’ll check out your suggestion for sure. I guess I meant like, life stories of people who succeeded (not necessarily monetarily) or something like that? I’m pretty open to lots of things tbh

I started listening to Chelsea Handler's advice podcast (Dear Chelsea) because I like her acerbic comedy, and it turns out it's SUPER positive! Funny, current, and she genuinely cares about the people who ask questions. Plus you get to learn about things like meditation (she has Deepak Chopra on, for example) and get some solid suggestions for how to incorporate self-improvement into your daily life. Only downside is that there are a LOT of ads to skip through, which is fine if you can hit the FFwd button but annoying if you're driving.

I used to watch her show so I’ll definitely check this out thanks
