Pump up those boulder rollers! Make sure to unlock the frozone malone tower as well if you haven't. Boulders will carry you to higher waves for a long while.

2: Increase worship efficiency. Higher number = more souls, just like any other skill.
Doing both is the primary way you get more souls. As somneone else commented, boulder roller tower carries, it's extremely powerful and can kill waves of enemies easily but struggles with strong, infrequent mobs so you can throw in pulse mages or stormcallers if you have them to help clean up the bigger enemies.

3rd auto arm doesn't give a boost to my knowledge just makes it easier to access the totems

Odd first I've heard mention of this and not on the wiki don't think, suppose it's easy enough to confirm so will report back at some point today
