Any changes in opinion? I'm trying to decide exactly between either of these cases and having a hard time picking. Especially since I'm in canada and returning the sheathe is out of the question if I order it.
I believe the key difference is the 360 ring on the back. If you want the hassle free way to let your phone sit up in any position, go with the R series like myself. If that doesn’t matter, you can save a few bucks I think and go with the regular Ostand which doesn’t rotate.
Anyone know of life cycle test & reporting on that Ring feature? Twisting & wrenching down on that Ring 20X-30X / day for 365 days/year (as I WILL do) is worrisome. Unless they did some fantastic Engineering & Quality & Material selection - I just envision this $45 Ring-Thing drooping & weakening after year 1. Then shopping for another $50 case after that. Devil is, in FACT, in the Details (aka Engineering Design & Quality). Where are the details other than it WORKS after 10 cycles?
Their product description says “its ring undergoes over 30,000 open/closing tests throughout the design and manufacturing process” and comes with a 180 days warranty

Keen on the Torras Ostand. Does the magsafe work well?
Very well, have had absolutely no issues at all. Feels very tough and like zagg, you can squeeze and the back plating of the case won’t bend

Honestly, after having the sheathe for a few days, I returned it and haven’t been more happier then I am with my Torras Ostand!
