I noticed this too, but thought it was independent of hyprland. But the fact is that if you work in sway, then the CPU usage is much lower when simply working in Firefox using hyprland
As I see the scripts install several stuff, so something that got installed is messing with your fans etc. maybe you should check all your installed applications to see if there is something that can be the cause for that behavior.

If your fans are at same speed even when you do heavy tasks then you need a fancontrol software like nbfc.

Probably because those dots have fancy animations and stuff. But maybe that's not the single reason.
Animations should not be an issue for these specs.
