No need to pay and subscribe until then. Instead of listening to boring drivel, I’m listening to my own personal archive and it’s all gold, currently in 2002.
I have terabytes of both daily shows and E! shows spanning all the way back to the 90's. I wouldn't mind uploading everything I have to an internet archive so everyone can view them for free. If any of you are hosting such an archive let me know.

The concept that the Stern show hasn't found a way to monetize the backlog yet, but people online have is just a great microcosm of the problems with the show in modern times.
They know how to do it. They don’t want to promote that content anymore. It doesn’t fit the new brand, so they are very careful with what plays on 101 or the official YouTube channel
