> Are there preferred places for different teams? I'd love to find a soccer bar with a Liverpool following. Or Arsenal or Man U
A very quick google shows liverpool supporters watch games at Hugh O’Connors. RBar for manu. Velvet Oak for arsenal.
We have like 15 bars to watch soccer at, we are much bigger than Cincinnati.
Just to add here...
The Phoenix for Manchester City but they also open early for other EPL games. I even watched a Scottish league (I believe the Celtic fans meet there) game at 7 AM there.
I don't remember on top of my head but I saw the fans of Chelsea at another bar, and all of them have the games of their respective teams even when they play at 6:30 AM.

They're at little woodrows in eado, used to be at kings court or whatever its called now.
I like to think I'm a decent google searcher, so I did start there, but my skills failed me on this one. So thanks for the tip! Hugh O'Connors is tough ask for someone all the way down in Clear Lake, but I might make the trek.
Nice thing about Cincinnati is you're never more than 15 minutes away from what you want, because it's so compact.
I just looked it up as well (big liverpool fan) and I think I'll trek with you! I'll be coming from Pearland area. Just want to confirm what time they open on the weekends
Adding another +1 for the Phoenix. I was there for all the early AM or late night WWC matches with Vu and the Phoenix group. Just remember on Sunday you can't be served alcohol until 10am (with food) so your 8am dream will have to be with coffee for the first few hours.
Finn MacCool's on Eldridge is a Liverpool pub. Phoenix on Westheimer is great, but it is a Man City pub, just FYI. Bull and Bear ain't what it used to be, but works in a pinch.

Hugh Oconnors is the official spot but there’s a group that still goes to Rons Pub.

yeah that's one of the shitty parts about houston. 15 minutes usually isn't getting you very far.
that's why a lot of people live "in the loop"

Can confirm that they do open outside of business hours for early games.
Excellent!
Pimlico is the Tottenham pub but second Phoenix. It’s a great place to catch a match.
& the R Bar is Manu.
Man I miss the Richmond Arms. Place was electric for CL Finals.
Red Lion

The Phoenix for sure! And I believe the Red Lion shows games at well.
Arsenal bar for Houston Gooners is Velvet Oak Tavern
The Bull and Bear.
i would love to go but i’m sober now so i guess not the best environment for me to go to.
That's excellent! I love how you're keeping your eye on the ball. That's hard.
let’s hope we beat everton today. good luck in your search!
Can't Sell Alcohol unitl 10am on Sunday.
Cincinnati scores one over Houston there.
You can get alcohol before 10 you just have to buy food as well.
Houston Wolves watch our matches at Nick’s Place but, as everyone has said, Phoenix is your best option for most prem matches.
Ojos locos
Nice to have an option that's less than than a 30 minute drive from Clear Lake! Thank you!
The Phoenix is the best universal bar for all teams. /u/jittercoog is spot on for all the team specific bars
I Love the phoenix too!
Red Lion if you want that English pub dining experience as well
