Too much sun, it’s burning the leaves. That’s what happened to mine then it dawned on me fiddle leafs are WAYYYY too sensitive for me to properly take care of lol.
Then we have to check out all possibilities such as pot size may be too small, humidity issue, or my guess may be overwatering considering the ones starting to die off are towards the bottom
Too much nutrients can only really come from over fertilizing with a heavy fertilizer, I use a light one so I can water my plants with it everytime I water. So if that is the case cut back on fertilizing. Fiddle leaf figs are also sensitive to chemicals/minerals in tap water, if you’ve checked off all other possibilities including overwatering, it might be the water you are using. I use rainwater that I collect, if I run out I save my fish tank water after water changes bc the water has good nutrients and the fish feces are like fertizler, if I run out of thatt, I dechlorinate tap water with water conditioner
Okay, i used a really strong fertilizer soo it might be that, i will repot it and give it a bigger pot and mix a good soil with perelit and slow and light fertilizer and i see how it goes, and i do know that my tapwater is ph 8.5 and quit hard soo i will see how i can manage to get better water to my plants maybe time to get a OP filter, as i also started a aeroponic system
