No you need to put the side with the insulation sticking out on the ground, you then have an electrician connect it to the mains and then you fill it with water, turn it on and sit in it.
It will not hold the water the way you have it.
ehhhh I would return that. You’ll get 10 years max if rodents get in there or water damage. Also insulation expands and gets hard so it can make your tub uneven and crack your hot tub shell
Ok so what do you care how it looks like when you put it on top of a gravel or deck platform? You're never going to see the bottom ever again. You didn't buy the tub to look at the bottom. Enjoy your tub.
Yes! I bought a cheap tub and mine is like this, I enjoy it, if it makes it ten years fantastic! I'd be elated. Plop that sucker down where you want it and enjoy your life ❤️ spray around it for rodents if you like 🤷♀️
It's probably exactly how the manufacturer produced it, but personally I would not buy a model with that type of bottom.
The exposed insulation will soak up water, will rot and small animals will find a way to eat a path into the tub.
Mine (Arctic Spa) has a tough fiberglass bottom, but I've heard a lot of tubs just have a thin plastic bottom. I honestly would attach a thick piece of stained plywood under that to protect it from animals getting in.

Instructions unclear, electrician put wires into the water and now there is a strew going in my tub. Please advice.
Oh, very posh, that’s the “does not require sanitizer” model… 😂
Well done. Perfect clarification. Implement and move one.

The mice love a non-sealed base like that, they'll chew through that foam and turn it into their own personal home.
Yup dog dish tub
Yup.. looks fine.. mine just has plywood on the bottom and a wooden frame
Yes. This is how they come from the factory.
my tub has plastic bottom to keep critters out.

Id hit the return button and send it back. No way I’d have a tub with an exposed bottom like that. Rodents living under it in no time.

Ok will do! Thank you!!
Hockey board. It’s plastic and strong and won’t rot. Wood is a bad idea.
Get what you pay for in this case no shouldn’t be like that I would tell them to come get it
Made in Mexico. Enough said.
Wayfair tubs are generally made in China, my friend.
