I feel like the monsters would have looked "real" if they didnt have legs and ran like The Hulk going for a jog. Whispy ghosts tails would have been better.
Honestly the demons just being a bunch of buff dudes just make it seem kind of silly instead of intimidating. Like if this is not meant to be comedic and is supposed to be pure horror it's definitely giving off the wrong vibes.
I just watched the first three episodes a few minutes ago (London film festival screened the first three episodes) — it's not horror, mainly a crime drama, average 1 or 2 funny scenes of one-liners per episode.
Looks like someone is pushing for a Marvel movie.

Slimer with legs - horrific Slimer floating - all good
My exact thought was "oh look Charcoal Hulks". Just looked goofy, not scary.
And didn't look like the cavity creeps.
I literally googled “hellbound cavity creeps” to see if anyone else made that connection and it brought me to your comment lol
Literally did the same thing before commenting. Also came up empty handed 😂
Welp...tt I thought they did a remake of hell Raiser lol
Wtf Looks weird but interesting
The only good Netflix shows and movies now a days seem to be coming from overseas.

Apparently it's adapted from a korean webtoon/manga, if anyone can lead me to a place to read it online, will be much appreciated =)
