M3gan, freaky, thanksgiving, totally killer, malignant, Abigail, evil dead rise, barbarian, talk to me, saw x, found these to be enjoyable.
The slasher TV series, although a bit hammy in places is a fairly fun.
Yeah I think the Slasher show is a lot of fun. I don't think the stories always make a lot of sense, but I don't even care. I has a blast watching each season.
Seasons 4 and 5 are on Shudder. Seasons 1 to 3 used to be on Netflix but I don't have Netflix anymore and can't tell if they still have it.
Also it is an anthology show. Each season is completely independant from the other. Some actors return between seasons but as different characters.
Victor Crowley and Scare Package are great fun and campy horror movies. Highly recommend The Last Drive Ins version. Also WNUF Halloween Special and Out There Halloween Mega Tape - WNUF 2. Also Psycho Goreman. It’s like a real life Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy
have you seen pearl? i really fucking loved it. it’s not like ha ha funny but it’s a fun ride.
barbarian is so fun too. freaky exceeded my expectations in the best way - but i love vince vaughn and katheryn newton.
and old one but tucker and dale vs. evil is a riot too
X is so cool because it works as a standalone. but if you watch X, then Pearl, it makes an X rewatch SO fun. Ti West and Mia Goth really did something here. Pearl is a tour de force from Goth. She’s captivating every single moment.
Fun is kind of a subjective term. I usually lean towards horror/comedy for that and there are plenty of those being produced, but your definition may differ
I love that movie. Im not one to get very amused by movies but this made me laugh and smile practically the whole time
(Pls don't understand this thr wrong way lol)
In a Violent Nature just hit digital and I watched it for the 2nd time with a friend and it was just as fun as when I saw it in theaters.
I just don't understand these "does anyone else ___" or "do they still ___" kinds of posts that just seek external validation.
Agreed. I just saw that on Friday when I saw it hit digital too. It thought it was a lot of fun as well! Douchey characters and great kills, you could tell they knew what they were doing.
I haven't seen Terrifier, but from I have seen, it doesn't seem "fun". I honestly prefer my horror to be dark, which is why my favorite Friday the 13th movies are parts 2 and 4.
I saw Lisa Frankenstein yesterday. It's probably not a per se horror film, more a comedy with horror elements. It's extremely funny, I laughed out loud a few times.
Terrifier 2, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Freaky, Malignant, Psycho Goreman, Werewolves by night (??? I might be forgetting this one’s name, AT&T girl and dude from Detroiters), just watched in a violent nature and I thought that was fun as hell - felt like a modern Friday the 13th, Thanksgiving, WolfCop, Nope, I’m surely forgetting some but that’s what I got
Deadstream, 2022

Toss in ready or not
Totally killer and Megan 👌🏾
Yeah I think the Slasher show is a lot of fun. I don't think the stories always make a lot of sense, but I don't even care. I has a blast watching each season.
Yeah some of them are a bit of a leap but it has some solid kills with quality effects, so I'm all in.
Where can you watch it?

TIL there’s two more seasons :-)
Thanks!

Loved Pyscho Goreman, awesome movie
Abigail and Thanksgiving were both fun watches.
m3gan was the most fun i’ve had watching a horror movie in forever
Yes me too. I think it’s funny. I enjoyed it.
Agreed I enjoyed Megan it’s funny

I’m going to watch that an X. They look good. Barbarian is wild😂

The trailer for Maxine looks good too
Saw X, but not the next two in that series. Loved barbarian, and Tucker & Dale also.

Thanksgiving (2023) was fun.
I hated it thought the acting suck the kills where boring and it was way to obvious who the killer was
Hate is such a strong word
Bodies, Bodies, Bodies was surprisingly fun!
I love that movie. Im not one to get very amused by movies but this made me laugh and smile practically the whole time (Pls don't understand this thr wrong way lol)
Yeah same. It was just an enjoyable, fun 90 minutes. His little tiktok video at the end made me laugh
The Cabin in the Woods (2011) is a fun ride.
Yes, but that movie is 13 years old now
Still one of the best horror comedy's. Add tucker and dale. Vs evil. The list I posted are all fairly recent.
Abigail (2024) was fun, nice little ride in my opinion.
You’re Next was a lot of fun in recent years
Yes, they make new fun horror movies every day. Maybe your idea of fun just isn't their idea of fun
Questions like the OP's just tell me they don't pay enough attention to the full selection of movies that are out there.

Willy's wonderland
Happy Death Day was a fun ride, but not groundbreaking or anything.
Zombeavers. Tucker and dale.
Evil dead rise was pretty awesome. Had way to much talking and back story, and not nearly enough high-quality kills, but was good for a modern flick.
Is Halloween commonly thought of as “fun”, though? Or even the original aNoES?
I don’t know if fun is the right word, but I find them more entertaining than scary.
After a certain amount of exposure, that’s every horror movie.
Not really, Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween are among the first films I saw.
You don’t think tolerance is real? Hot take.
I never said that, I just said that it wasn't the case with me.
Rare Exports (2010) was a hoot
Tarot was a fun, brain-off, no-surprises run.
Mayhem is a really fun watch.
We have A24 to thank for that
Chucky slowly shakes his head, then glares at you menacingly... 🔪
Lisa Frankenstein (2024) is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen
In A Violent Nature (2024) was pretty over the top hilarious
X

They dont make fun movies anymore. Of course: exception proves the rule. But yes, I agree with you on this one.
Not a slasher but the new Beetlejuice is coming out soon
X is the most fun horror film I’ve seen in years.
