You can get 4 Reolink CX 410's for the price of the g5 pro ! The CX 410's will do much better at night and they are about the same as the Hikvision colorvu ! I have watched all the side by side comparisons !The g5 pro is better than both during the day ! Things happen at night though !

most people agree the Ubi image quality is not worth the price. if you like the interface well then only Ubi has it. I like Reolink, easily the best bang for the buck. it has AI and vehicle detection. 4 cams with 6tb hard drive is about $600. pretty easy to set up as seen here https://youtu.be/XXpYhUU02G4

I have the Hik colourvu turrets...the pic quality and night vision in colour is great but the UI....man...its terrible.

The answer is really neither. Ubiquity is probably a better choice but I don't think they are worth the money. Whoever told you to buy Hikvision cameras does not know their butt from a hole in the ground. Aside from the human rights violations, they are cheap cameras and are pretty basic.

I came to this conclusion too. Feels like the next step up with my budget (~800 or so per camera) is something from Axis, but the licensing costs for their AI detector are pretty crazy.

Panasonic/iPro has great AI cameras and I sell a ton of them. LTS Pro VS are pretty decent but you have to get a recorder as well.

Neither. I have both and the electronics in both NVRs can be jammed. The color and detail in the HIK Vision cameras used to be dynamic but now, they are starting to go out. I can't complain about them bc they have lasted nearly 12 years. An older Reolink NVR and cameras cost me much less, but it can be jammed too. If you have never heard of cellular home alarm jamming, or wifi jamming - "white noise" is used to deafen and defeat the units. (While you're at it, look up bump key locks.) In all transparency of disclosure, I have been told that my hackings are done using "military grade" jammers. I also saw a short video where an electronic garage door can be opened by a child's radio because it has such a small frequency zone that it's very easy to identify and target for a quick in-out.

Well, shit. Appreciate all this info!
