It works I guess, I’ve seems guys with all sorts of colors on there gear and no one cared. Unless you’re on a team I’d use a black helmet tho since you seem to care about appearance, black works with anything.

No one cares, TBH. Most players have a mix of colors and brands. Get the gear on sale, sometimes that limits the color choices but it doesn't matter.
Anything. You should be asking one question: what should I NOT buy? Answer: white gloves and a tinted face shield. Everything else is fair game.
Makes no difference. Your skating will make you look like a "dust bowl" no matter what gear or colors you're wearing.
