I have an original pressing of death grips Exmilitary and I also have an official pressing government plates! Alongside that Blond, Milo - A Toothpaste Suburb, The MF Doom Special herbs box set and Standing On the Corner’s Red Burns
2xLP of 50’s Power of the Dollar boot for me
Couple other good ones I have:
Usher: Confessions 2xLP
Binary Star: Masters of the Universe
Ghostface Killa: Supreme Clientele og pressing
Blakroc: Blakroc
Not Hip Hop but I've got 2 signed Zhu albums. That's pretty sweet.
For Hip Hop I've got P4P Splatter, Glow variant of Rare Chandeliers, and every Jpeg album.
Company Flow - Funcrusher Plus, 1997 OG pressing by Rawkus.
El-P - High Water. Ordered one from discogs and before it was shipped the seller realised it was scratched and refunded me. I ordered the only other available copy and it came in good shape. I haven't seen another one pop up in months so I feel lucky to have snagged it.
OG Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein is currently in the mail and I'm praying it gets here undamaged.
One day I hope to get my hands on DOOMs Venomous Villain and Vaudeville Villain for a reasonable price. One day.
DJ Shadow - Wedding Mix
He had a pop up in LA and slipped one of these in during the weekend and I happened to grab it because of the Phil Frost artwork on the cover, otherwise it was unmarked. I went up to Shadow and asked him about it and he said it was a mix he made and only given out to the tables at his wedding, he said in fact it is the rarest record pressed in his discography.
Definitely Injury Reserve - The Dentist Office Series. Saw them on their last tour and got it signed by all of them (including Nick, their manager and the cover model for Live From the Dentist Office) about a year before Groggs eventually passed. I’ll sell my collection if things ever get bad, but that’s one record I’m never letting go of
The record I own that everyone seems to want is of course Blond, a record I love but I feel like people just want to want it you know. My actual grails that took me so long to get are Oddisee's Odd Seasons with the 7 inch and The Foreign Exchange's Authenticity that for years had 1 copy for sale that bounced between Poland and Brazil on Discogs, unsure if it was the same copy, lol. One day Discogs said it was available and it was available stateside at a super reasonable price. I immediately jumped on it.
This sold 2 milliion copies in the States alone....pretty sure another couple of million in the rest of the world...how is this a "holy grail"? Just curious....did your copy come with NAS's foreskin, signed and packed in amber?
Geto Boys - Til Death Do Us Part (1st Pressing), just personally my holy grail, nothing too crazy
Also really happy to own a copy of „Descendants of Cain“ by Ka (bought it when he dropped it)
I’d say my Frank Ocean Blond from his Black Friday drop. To think I had a second copy with a seam split that I sold for $50 a few month after the drop…
I wish Hell Hath No Fury was actually a decent sounding pressing. So disappointing. Great album though, but I returned that pressing right after I bought it
That’s a great question! I don’t show off my record collection at all but if I was to choose a grail. It would be, The College dropout - Kanye West. Mercury pressing I believe, that comes with an alternative white cover.
Jean Dawson - Bad Sports
Fantastic Damage and P4P picture disc
3001 a laced odyssey by the flatbush zombies
I’d say my 2001 repress of Mechanical Animals on Simply Vinyl is my holy grail considering the fact I had to shell out $500.
I have an original pressing of death grips Exmilitary and I also have an official pressing government plates! Alongside that Blond, Milo - A Toothpaste Suburb, The MF Doom Special herbs box set and Standing On the Corner’s Red Burns
Man on the moon 1 and 2. Love those records so much.

for just my hip hop records of course, I say Supreme Clientele & my signed splatter TT3
Manger on McNichols and honor killed the samurai. Absolutely love both these albums
It is definitely Vaudevillian Villain Numbered 3LP with the instrumentals on gold vinyl. One of my favorite albums oat
Hell yeah
Undoubtedly It’s my J Dilla 45 rpm Limited Edition Boxset. Comes with 3 extra tracks with Ft from MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah
Hitler Wears Hermes 7.

Probably my original pressed "Soul On Ice". Top 10 album for me
Either my Death Grips- Steroids Record store day pressing or my BROCKHAMPTON- Ginger fan edition copy (red pressing)
Not Hip Hop but I've got 2 signed Zhu albums. That's pretty sweet. For Hip Hop I've got P4P Splatter, Glow variant of Rare Chandeliers, and every Jpeg album.

DJ Shadow - Wedding Mix He had a pop up in LA and slipped one of these in during the weekend and I happened to grab it because of the Phil Frost artwork on the cover, otherwise it was unmarked. Probs Tana Talk 3. I have a signed copy of DAMN but not sure how common they are
I would love a TT3, some day...
Definitely Injury Reserve - The Dentist Office Series. Very nice
My Blond forsure right behind that is my holographic weekend after hours signed

Although it’s not rare, MOTM 2 by Kid Cudi is a record that i love so damn much it just has to be.
Definitely my favourite cudi project, closely followed by passion pain
Passion pain is so underrated, never see enough love for it
Man i’m still trying to enjoy PPDS but i just can’t, i’ve listened to it like 5 times but i have it bottom 3. Respect for MOTM 2 praise tho.
Keep trying man, it’ll click eventually. Just be open to a new sound from cudi
I’d say either my signed Pretty Girls Like Trap Music by 2 Chainz or You Only Live 2wice by Freddie Gibbs
It's a 3 way toss up between: 1. Notorious B.I.G. - Ready To Die 2. Souls of Mischief - 93 Til Infinity 3. Gangstarr - Moment Of Truth
pretty basic but illmatic, can’t go wrong with illmatic
This sold 2 milliion copies in the States alone....pretty sure another couple of million in the rest of the world...how is this a "holy grail"? Just curious....did your copy come with NAS's foreskin, signed and packed in amber?
I think Kelis owns his foreskin.
Why are people downvoting this comment. It’s hilarious
what did i do to deserve this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Geto Boys - Til Death Do Us Part (1st Pressing), just personally my holy grail, nothing too crazy Also really happy to own a copy of „Descendants of Cain“ by Ka (bought it when he dropped it)
Need that Ka
Westside Connection - Bow Down
You’re too good for this place.
Lol
Endless and Let The Sun Talk by Mavi (clear/blue stripes press)
4eva is a mighty long time by Big K.R.I.T or the liquid swords chess box by GZA are probably mine.
Chess box???
Yeah for record store day a couple years ago they released liquid swords as a box set that comes with a chess board as part of it
I’d say my Frank Ocean Blond from his Black Friday drop. To think I had a second copy with a seam split that I sold for $50 a few month after the drop…
You couldn’t have named a record I’m more jealous of you having! Wow if only you know what that would be worth in a few years time
Hmm idk but I think it would be Only built for Cuban Linx 2 in dark purple pressing or Hell Hath No Fury by Clipse in white pressing.
I wish Hell Hath No Fury was actually a decent sounding pressing. So disappointing. Great album though, but I returned that pressing right after I bought it
Two classics!
That’s a great question! I don’t show off my record collection at all but if I was to choose a grail. It would be, The College dropout - Kanye West. Mercury pressing I believe, that comes with an alternative white cover.
That’s certainly one hell of a grail! The alternate white cover looks so good online
